Thanks HighRouleur. I agree with Vadmium, the road crossings at Jells Rd appear to be "pedestrian crossings". The section from the substation to Sir Kenneth Luke Bvd could be footway or shared.

a WATCH FOR BICYCLES sign provides some indication that a shared path or cycleway may cross the freeway on ramp

Hi, what evidence do you have that it is a footway south of Elllis Park Ave, anything other than a lack of signage? That has three problems, (1) the last sign just south of Ellis Pk is an end shared path sign (to cross Ellis Pk Av) which implies a shared path was in force for at least some of that path south, (2) there may be bicycle signage further south (3) OSM consensus does not allow lack of signage as a sole reason for retagging.

Hi Sebastian, its asking a bit much for you to comment when you can't yet view the Mapillary tracks in map view. There are 19 photos in the Springvale Rd set and 9 in the Jackson Rd set. Please let me know when you have worked out which photos are where and then we can continue the discussion

The photo sequence I supplied shows shared path signage at least as far as 651 Springvale Rd, near Caravan Court.

The photo sequence I supplied shows shared path signage to at least just south of Ellis Park Avenue, that's about 300m further south of what you are saying. I see no need to split the path.
