First shows shared path, its looking south even though it says north. End shared path signs imply that there is shared path leading up to them.

Hi Matthew and Sebastian, Hansworth St south end I see no gate Oct 3 or Oct 23 2019. North end I see open gates with sign "No through Road" Oct 2 and Oct 23 2019. Nothing I see says private. I was near there today, pity I didn't check.

Hi, though there are dangers in trying to understand a tag's meaning from its dictionary meaning, its a useful place to start. A pipestem is a shared driveway, it may not have a kerb, footpath or street lights, it is not council maintained, it may not have garbage pickup or postal delivery.
Why do you think that pipestem works here?

I can't read the sign in Mapillary, presumably you went there? Why not capture a photo of the sign while you are there?
