welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contribution. It looks like you accidentally modified the name of the road in this edit - I fixed that for you. Happy mapping!

Please don't use descriptive names for roads - it's fine if the road is unnamed if it doesn't actually have a name.

Please don't add your advertisement to random objects. If you have a physical store, which it looks like you do, by all means add it. But please don't keep doing this.

You can either move the node to the new location, or delete this one and create a new one at the new location. Changing the address is not sufficient.

Welcome to OSM. Are bikes really not allowed on this road?

welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contribution. I was able to align the road better using updated imagery which should also be available in your editor as well. Try enabling the "NOAA NGS Gulf Coast Imagery (2025)" layer, and confirm that this looks right to you.

reverted for using "Google Maps" as a source

Welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contribution. building=* ways are supposed to match the footprint of the actual building, and not the plot - I went ahead and remapped the address as a node, and added the streets without names. Hope this helps with your troubles (although it probably won't for Google and Apple maps, specifically)

Welcome to OSM. Google Maps is not a compatible source for OSM contributions. osm.wiki/Google
I have reverted your edits which list Google Maps as a source. If you already know where a business is, feel free to add it based on local knowledge plus information from the business's own website (not their Google Maps page!)

Let me know if you have any questions.

welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contribution. Instead of drawing a duplicate way on top of the existing one, you should split the existing one - you can do this by selecting a node and right clicking.

Happy mapping!

This edit added the gate in the middle of Main Street - it would have blocked routers. I went ahead and fixed this for you by putting the gate in the proper location. Happy mapping!

Welcome to OSM. Is it 1225 or 1325? Based on NAD it looks like it should be 1225.

You attached this ALPR to another object on accident:
node/13042099739

You can avoid this by holding "ctrl" when you are placing the node, which will allow you to place it without snapping to existing objects. I fixed that for you. Happy mapping!

Welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contribution. This looks good, but the direction=90 you added is pointed in the opposite direction of traffic - did you perhaps mean to point it the other way?

I'm not sure if way/1416740102 is really a dam. I think it is just built up for the road bed and not for flood control reasons - there's not really any sort of overflow/emergency spillway like you would expect with earthen dams around here. What do you think?

Welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contributions.

Before you upload an edit, I recommend taking a look at the validator warnings (under the "issues" tab on the right pane). It will tell you about potential errors. They are not always correct, but still very helpful. In this case you have a couple of situations where a sidewalk you drew does not connect with driveways/streets, which is an easy fix.

Additionally, you can tag pedestrian crossing ways differently from sidewalks. I recommend taking a look at this guide:
osm.wiki/Foundation/Local_Chapters/United_States/Pedestrian_Working_Group/Guide

Happy mapping!

a disclosure before I get started: I'm not very familiar with the minutiae of wetland or coastline tagging. This changeset broke rendering of the bays, so that's why I reverted it.

natural=water represents the area of water features inside the natural=coastline way. The natural=coastline way should go roughly at the "mean high water springs mark". Since the natural=coastline way is at the outer edge of the barrier islands, a natural=water tag is needed for these areas. You can see the current coastline tag here: way/440522406

Whether the mainland should also have its own coastline is something I'm not sure of. I recommend hopping in the OSM US slack ( https://slack.openstreetmap.us/ ) or the community forums ( https://community.openstreetmap.org/ ) if this is something you're interested in.

I have reverted this edit. Please take a look at the wiki page for natural=bay natural=bay

when you say you "Cutoff the street", what do you mean? It looks like you just split the way in this edit, but did not change any tags?
