Hello,
Thanks for reflecting the new numbering scheme.
I am not sure changing the "network" tag into "Express" is a good idea. It breaks many queries and destroys the uniqueness of the network. Was this discussed with the community beforehand?

I suggest route relations and route master relations keep "network=TEC". Perhaps you want to add "bus=express" on individual route relations if you really need that. Otherwise, other tagging schemes have been proposed but are not yet supported.

A question about this one: node/474985856/history

name=AB Delhaize
name:fr=Louis Delhaize

Why is the name different in French only?

Hello,
Uniqlo was already on the database.
I see you are using MAPS.ME. Please be aware that this software usually uses outdated data. This is probably why you create a duplicate.
I suggest you update your data source.

Comment was linked to note #2355743.

Good point.
I updated the house shapes because they match the new houses but kept the house numbers from your survey. There is not much we can do for UrbIS, it regularly gets outdated and once in a while they fix their map.
We can close this note.

Maybe better to add backrest=no rather than deleting the tag. Otherwise, Q/A apps such as StreetComplete will keep bugging users about the missing information.

Hello,
Why did you undo the changes about small parking spaces and turned them into amenity=parking?
Example here:
way/402628154/history
If each of them is a full-size parking area, then apps such as StreetComplete will bug users and ask to give a name. And there is also a rendering issue.
Any thoughts?

Hello,
I think this container here is overground, not underground: node/1258234538

Very nice work! Yes, this area has changed a lot in the last years.
I tried to improve it even more.

OK, let’s keep it for the moment. After all, it will be easy to know when the situation changes.
I’ve done a few minor changes to your design.
Also, the north sidewalk still has D9 signs everywhere, I often use it.

90854146 over 5 years ago

The new infrastructure is supposed to be temporary, right? We had settled not to change anything here before getting the confirmation the new dual cycle track would stay.
Moreover, the situation on the eastbound sidewalk is very erratic: D9 were supposed to be removed, yet some parts do still have a sign while other parts haven’t.

There are 3 buttons in osm.org: Edit | History | Export.
The magic comes from "History", then you can see recent changes on the map.
It is fairly hard to use because there are a lot of giant changesets that cover Belgium but did not change anything here.
I use it every now and then, that’s how I came across your changes. Don’t worry, you are usually doing fine and bringing useful stuff, it’s good to have more and more eyes to see everything in the city.

Here is the usual way to proceed for addresses, each time with a good example.

A small house is an area and we put the address tags on the area itself.
way/227006414

A large house is an area that only has building=yes and we create several nodes inside it, one for each number. Then, the house numbers go to every node.
way/227006455

You can tag a whole house if the shop is the whole house, for instance a supermarket. But in many cases, the shop is just one floor and there are residents elsewhere in the building. In such a case, just a single node inside the area for the shop, and no address.
node/4913658925

There are many borderline cases, for instance a business announcing to be on numbers 17-19, or how to tag a shop inside a large building while making sure it is one of the numbers, etc. The main rule is to avoid having several objects having the same housenumber, most apps don’t like it.

I surveyed it yesterday, I will redraw it.

Hello,
Thanks for this.
Do you know whether "Friche Josaphat" is an official name? Is it maybe the way people colloquially call it.
And is there an official name in Dutch? We must set it too.
Thanks in advance.

Surveyed on 2020-09-13: the situation is still unchanged.

Hello,
First of all, many thanks for adding more stuff to the map. I like your edits.
One thing. When you create a node for a shop, and when this node is entirely contained within a building that already has an address, there is no need to fill all the address tags on the shop itself.
The address will be automatically computed from the building it belongs to.
You will save time and this will avoid validation issues we are having because of duplicate addresses. (In the mean time I fixed your recent edits here.)

Hello,
Your edit creates validation issues. The key to use here is "dog", not "dogs".

Yes, it is not finished. For very large stations like this one, it usually takes several surveys before I can catch everything.
