| 137780395 | over 2 years ago | It looks very much like a vandal account, e.g. transforming a waterway into a highway=trunk, or this presumably fake huge bicycle shed
"Je moder" sounds very much like "Je moeder", aka "Yo mama" jokes. |
| 137752752 | over 2 years ago | Hello, Adding bilingual names on streets in places with language facilities is generally okay—especially when the street signs show the two languages—make sure to update the addresses on buildings accordingly. (Example here: way/864610407) Otherwise, this creates a whole bunch of nasty validation issues. ;-) |
| 137724647 | over 2 years ago | Hello, Pardon my curiosity but this changeset does not seem to be related to landuse—all your latest changes are disguised under an innocuous "landuse update" title. Is service=parking_aisle appropriate for an ordinary service road? This road is not inside a parking area at all, I suspect this is a private road used for deliveries and police vans. Any thoughts?

| 137623045 | over 2 years ago | @Desriveaux: your changeset was undone because of lack of verifiability (not to mention incorrect capitalisation and more), and out of protection for the map after finding out that many changesets contained implausible names (sentier des Gembloutois bienheureux, sentier de Marie-Martine, sentier des coquefredouilles, chemin d'Olivier le Sardanapale, piste des fesse-mathieux, chemin des gourgandines…).
If you want to make positive contributions to improve the map, some additional comments and guideline have been provided under your other changeset there.

| 137636642 | over 2 years ago | 1) osm.wiki/Good_practice#Map_what's_on_the_ground
If the name of a path is not posted, and that the name only exists in the head of a few people, even if those are very wise and knowledgeable locals, the name should not be put to the map. Verifiabiliy is a core principle of a crowdsourced map. You may be interested to use the "old_name" tag instead of "name" if you want to refer to an old colloquial name that is no longer used nowadays. Finally, please learn how to type names properly, street or paths names in OSM are always written with proper capitalisation on names, write "Chemin des Marmiteux" and not "chemin des marmiteux". |
| 137599565 | over 2 years ago | Hello,
|
| 137362280 | over 2 years ago | Bonjour Le bureau immobilier Carine Conti était déjà renseigné sur la carte.
| 137598219 | over 2 years ago | Bonjour, Uniquement les noms véritables sur OSM, svp. Ne pas inventer des noms au hasard en faisant croire que ce sont des noms locaux. |
| 137603796 | over 2 years ago | @Bernit: Please read messages that are being sent to you. Those names do NOT exist.
You are just making this up.
Your account has been reported. |
| 137603160 | over 2 years ago | This is nonsense. Please stop vandalizing the map immediately! |
| 137603319 | over 2 years ago | Hello, I don’t think this name exists.
|
| 137554587 | over 2 years ago | Hello, Next time, please upload your changes for Arlon separately from those in Brussels, otherwise you are creating a huge bounding box spanning over half of the country. I had to revert your "observations" for Brussels because the building you touched has several doors, each with its own address, not just one. All the addresses are properly set on the doors, we do not need to assign a general address to the whole building. |
| 137460580 | over 2 years ago | My comment was about the cycle track but I agree that there might be more work to do to align the road.
(I saw your comment on another changeset here, I’ll try to have a look.) |
| 137460580 | over 2 years ago | Hello, Is it me or did you just destroy all the work by @Thierry1030 and others who drew the new cycle tracks?
"AIV Flanders preliminary imagery" is more recent than the default base layer, you might want to have a look to be sure about the location of those cycle tracks. |
| 137413638 | over 2 years ago | Hello, If the changeset is about swimming pools, why did you tag this as a simple body of water? It looks like an ordinary private swimming pool, doesn’t it?
|
| 137404008 | over 2 years ago | Hello, I fixed the situation here. There are multiple ways to map such an infrastructure; it looks like drawing cycle and pedestrian ways separately will make it it easier for everyone in the long run. Just one thing: OSM has an open and well-documented data model, and there are hundreds of engines that use our data to build various apps or navigation tools. We did not write such thing as "unspecified" in OSM. This is an invention by Strava people, probably that they are unable to use our data model properly and cannot route cyclists where every other routing engine can. AFAIK, Strava uses closed-source code, so we don’t know what they do with our data. Have a nice day. |
| 137407354 | over 2 years ago | ↑ The comment above was meant for note/3720027 to thank the user. |
| 137407354 | over 2 years ago | Interesting shortcut, indeed.
|
| 137404008 | over 2 years ago | Sorry but this is incorrect. This object is tagged primarily as a footway, with a segregated part for cyclists.
You should use cycleway:surface here, because the part for pedestrian is not made of asphalt but paving stones.

| 137389732 | over 2 years ago | Thanks for writing back. Indeed, there are plenty of mistakes here, it’s fortunate we have very recent photo coverage on Mapillary. (This is a free collection of pictures we did ourselves for OSM.) Kiran is a convenience shop and it is in the same building as number 11 (one building with two doors: one private entrance and one for the store. I did the necessary fixes. Have a nice day. |
