|
| 134844754 | over 2 years ago | Hello, I don’t think it is a good idea to add bicycle=use_sidepath here. Under Belgian legislation, cyclists may legally use the road even if there is a D7 sign, to turn left. Routers will now make it impossible to turn left onty Rue du Bois-Henri/Henri Bosstraat. |
| 134704662 | over 2 years ago | I don’t want to start a fight with you about trivial stuff.
Anyway, I’ll try to fix some of the damage you made. There are several versions of UrbIS imagery and the one labelled as "CIRB/CIBG most recent aerial imagery" in the iD editor is slightly older than Ortho2022NS provided on geoservices-urbis.irisnet.be, where we see more recent stuff, e.g. the location of a traffic light. Have a nice day. |
| 134704662 | over 2 years ago | Hello, Can you please explain how you determine the outline of a bridge? It might be more helpful than starting an edit war. The point here is that the new structure begins exactly at the edge of the cycle track along Av. du Parc/Parklaan.
Any thoughts? |
| 134685023 | over 2 years ago | Hello, You moved address nodes in Denmark away from houses to attach them to roads. I thinks this is a mistake.
You also added houses and other objects in Alicante.
All in the same changeset as for Zakynthos in Greece. If you want to edit several areas, at the very least please upload them separately, because your latest change generated a huge bounding box covering most of the European continent. |
| 134614616 | over 2 years ago | It looks like there was some damage. Look at where you moved that bus stop.
I’ll fix it. |
| 134623851 | over 2 years ago | Hello, We had to redo your edit. Not every building on a hospital site as a "hospital" building: it looks more like a container. Also, you created a duplicate hospital here. The hospital is already named as a large area around the whole site, the building itself should not get an extra name. |
| 134613566 | over 2 years ago | 18 months ago, it hurts! 😄

| 134613566 | over 2 years ago | I don’t use Organic Maps a lot but indeed it has a strange default mode when adding points in multilingual territories, like Belgium. When you fire the "Add a place to the map" it looks like it shows several text boxes with a language name. There is a small hack here: hit the "Add a language" option and scroll down to the last one named "Native for each country" → add the name only there and you will be fine. I reported the problem to the devs because we get overwhelmed by this problem since OM is becoming popular. Happy mapping! |
| 134613566 | over 2 years ago | Hello, I regret to inform you that the name of the bar you’ve just created will not be printed on the map. Please inspect the tags for node/10792704806 Your edit merely says: "This bar has no name, but the translation into English of the name is Latino Café Bar". This is not how OSM works. If you want the bar to show up on the map, you must fill the name tag properly. Organic Maps is a simple app with very basic editing functionalities. I admit their editing interface may confuse users who are not used to deal with databases. |
| 134613519 | over 2 years ago | Hello, Thanks for adding a restaurant. To make your future edits better, please always remember to use proper international format for phone numbers, e.g. "+32 2 520 75 75" instead of "025207575". Thanks in advance. |
| 134614616 | over 2 years ago | Hello,
|
| 134612871 | over 2 years ago | Hello, Thanks for adding your company and welcome on OSM. We had to redo your edit because you erased an existing address on the building to replace it with your company, which is not the right thing to do. The map is updated every few hours, the node should be visible soon. |
| 134549086 | over 2 years ago | Hello, Thanks but next time, please keep the former node and update its tags. Do not delete one and create a new node, otherwise information gets lots in the database. |
| 134432372 | over 2 years ago | Thanks. Next time, please consider uploading changes in an area before working on another part of the country. This will avoid creating huge bounding boxes like here, covering half of Belgium. |
| 133212582 | over 2 years ago | The editor you are referring to is the iD editor, i.e. a simple javascript editor running inside your browser. It only has basic features and probably ignores that such tags are incorrect. I found this mistake when running the Nominatim Q/A validator; Nominatim is the software behind the small Search box in the upper-left corner of the map.
Apart from that, your contributions are great. Have a nice day. |
| 133212582 | over 2 years ago | nohousenumber=* is the recommended value. "addr:housenumber"="z/n" triggered a validation problem here. |
| 115002347 | over 2 years ago | Hello, This node is a duplicate of this:
There is a database consistency problem here. Since you seem to be familiar with this area, would you please check which of those nodes is the correct one and remove the other? |
| 121186509 | over 2 years ago | Hello, You added another place=locality POI with name=Haneveld a few hundred meters away. There is a database consistency problem because of that. Could you please check → either one of the node has a different name, or you must select one node and delete the other. Thanks in advance. |
| 134380562 | over 2 years ago | This changeset is an example of copyright violation. The very unusual way you are writing the names "Bruyninckx Rudi & Vansintjan Marc" is exactly how the POI appears on Google Maps. The website you referred (groepspraktijkmachelen.be) automatically redirects to https://mcmachelen.be/
Same for your other changesets. I suspect you are copying data from copyrighted source, which is not permitted. If you are doing this, please stop immediately. |
