Wikipedia has different rules for inclusion compared to OSM (it allows fictional things, for example, and OSM doesn't). Wikipedia used to have two separate articles but they got merged (I would say in error; but I have no influence over wikipedia)

Whether there should be a "place=locality" here called "Null Island" is an interesting question; I've argued against that in the past (and probably still would, on the grounds that it's a name used in geographical circles but not in the wider population). However, people have suggested that it is widely known enough to be worth including as a locality in OSM (including at least one member of the board!) so my view isn't universal. Some of the previous changesets at https://osm.mapki.com/history/node/3815077900 have comments on them, and there was quite a long thread at https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk/2022-January/thread.html#87164 as well.

The buoy (which is what is mapped here in OSM) is not called "null island".

The name before your survey was from an unknown (we suspect incompatible) source, but if your survey has validated the name, then the name is OK to keep, as it has been surveyed.

One more question - some names in changeset/74061896 and changeset/73730163 were changed "prior to Kaart ground survey". Did that survey happen and did it verify the names?
