Changeset When Comment

Hello HKHikerhang,
You've removed the name from https://osm.mapki.com/history/node/6169850701 here. The changeset comment here does not explain that. Can you provide a bit more detail?
Best Regards.
Andy

For more detail see the discussion on changeset/125817813 - ignore the misconceptions about how rights of way work in England and Wales at the top of the thread but instead read the "things that might have been mistagged" further down.

@DaveF What I was trying to do was to understand _why_ people thought that there was a problem here. What that did was to bring out the fact that some of the mismatched tags weren't because the "access" tags were wrong, but others - the "highway" tag in a couple of cases (some since resolved by other mappers, others not yet).
In examples where it's unclear what caused an "odd combination of tags" each example really does need to be discussed with the original mapper (or if not possible, just resurveyed) to understand what went wrong. That's something that (and I'm trying to be polite here) your people skills don't seem to have equipped you for, so it's probably better if other people do that.

The edit to the Taff Trail was actually based on a survey from 2014!

This isn't a collection; it is an incomplete boundary.

Just wondering - what procedure did you go through to descide the correct tagging for node/4007660692/history ? Did you survey the site yourself?

Hello,
Andy from the Data Working Group here. I've commented at https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/how-to-contact-the-person-group-running-a-maproulette-challenge/2705/8 and also tried to get the attention of the person who created the MapRoulette task osm.org/user_blocks/6386 .

你好,
请使用比“小编辑”更好的变更集注释——这个编辑不能那么小,因为它从北京延伸到哈尔滨!

Hello,
Please use better changeset comments than just "minor edit" - this edit can't be that minor as it stretches from Beijin to Harbin!
Best Regards,
Andy

Please use smaller changesets. This series of changesets spams the changeset history for many countries, not just Russia (I was trying to look for recent edits in China; that's how I discovered this mess).

> Yes, I am aware of this.

OK, please link to where you had the discussion with the local community.

Actually there is bridleway signage at the southwest of Red House Lane, but a tree has grown around the sign, so it is invisible to the casual observer.

note/3363495 (I'll resolve when you've had a look).

124054824 over 3 years ago

"it" being Scagglethorpe Lane of course. I don't believe there's any signage on Red House Lane, although the permissive bit at the top end was signed as permissive.

124054824 over 3 years ago

It probably is an ORPA of some sort, but there's no explicit signage at either end.
However the bridleway signage at the north end gives the impression of a continuation rather than a dead end for horses from the north.

Er, the things that you've copied from "realtor websites" here go well beyond what would normally be mapped in OSM ("walk-in closets" etc.)
