Tak for rettelsen.

| 170193718 | 4 months ago | Hello, It was only a temporary note meant for myself while working on the correct height of a building and a roof. Everything fixed now and the note is deleted, Best regards

| 163449728 | 9 months ago | I think it would be helpful if you start by reading my comment and only then answer specifically. I was still mapping this newly built area. Most of the buildings and roads are constructed today, but only some of them are shown in aerial photos from autumn 2024. I'm hesitant to mapping the whole area until we have even newer aerial photos from spring/summer 2025. Your approach seems to be pure vandalism. Without any prior questions to men, just deleting my newer mapping, claim it was wrong and finally mapping the area again to make in render i OSM according to older outdated areal photos. Please refrain from this in the future. (And by the way, I know what blue needles in Osmose means) |
| 163449728 | 9 months ago | Hello You have deleted my mapping of the urban residential area Banevænget near Svendborg Vest. This is wrong, and has caused a lot of "blue needles" in Osmose. You have mapped after old aerial photos instead of refraining from deleting my correct drawings, or map after the latest conditions on the site. Aerial photos from the fall of 2024 already show that the road Banevænget is partially built, and some homes have also been built. I have inspected the site and for the time being limited myself to drawing the road as planned, and would return later instead of drawing the new buildings. Unfortunately, I now have to recreate what you have deleted without asking first. Please refrain from this kind of actions in the future. MicDK |
| 162656717 | 10 months ago | Hello keepright! Thanks for your kind answer to which have a few comments. 1) I agree with you that driveway should not be used in this way. I have had this discussion with others, and we agreed on using landuse=garage or garages for areas in front of a garage or garages. Regarding driveways to single houses, they are very rarely mapped in Denmark. Driveways like these are self evident when they are directly placed next to a road with common access. 2) Yes, F4 Demo doesn´t render the height of steps, so it will be best to use height as relative to normal ground (0 meters). I agree with you, that stairs shall be used only indoors, and steps shall be only br used outdoors. I haven't been consistent but I will take notice and attempt to correct this from now on. 3) Yes, you're right. Building=portal is used by me to obtain proper rendering in 3D. The OpenStreetMap definition of buiding is quite wide, but a portal still is a fixed man made construction. For that reason I consider the use of building=portal for acceptable. 4) The same goes for building=steps. They are fixed man made constructions, and there are examples of how steps are rendered in the same manner as I do. Please check out this link:
For that reason I consider the micromapping of building/building_part=steps for acceptable. Not that everyone absolutely should map steps like me. Only in order to make steps rendered in the best possible way in 3D. My best regards

| 162656717 | 10 months ago | Hello, I always micromaps steps connected and leading to the entrance of a house as part of a whole building. Others does the same. This is in order to create a realistic 3D image of a complete building. I made a small research related to the difference between stairs and steps. I'm okay with using steps when we are outside and stairs when we are inside. Thanks for pointing this out. Our changeset has distorted my earlier 3D mapping because the single steps has disappeared. Please look here:
That's why I intent to redraw the steps as part of the complete building. Building->Steps is present in taginfo for building I ask for your kind understanding. Best regards

| 152943021 | over 1 year ago | Hello Andreas, It's not customary to name private driveways with the names of the streets, the driveways are connecting to. Service ways are usually not named, but they can be if its fx. helps navigation. Therefore I'm considering to remove "Sønder Vornæsvej" from the driveways you previosly have named bot not from the service way to three separate adresses. I hope for your understanding. Link: service=driveway Best regards

| 142258218 | about 2 years ago | Hello, I was in Brussels around the 19th of September, and I made some changes around where I stayed. Looked at new Google Maps from March 2023 and saw some other oneway markings of some roads. If there has been a change in August, then please revert my changes. Although I'm completely sure, that Rue Verde was not blocked for traffic near "Au P'tit Delice", because I visited this shop. Sorry for the inconvience. You're right when you have solid local knowledge. Best regards

| 141128105 | about 2 years ago | En lille ting mere. Skrevet i al venlighed :-) |
Her ligger nutidens veje "Klostervænget" og "Lille Klostervænge". |
| 141128105 | over 2 years ago | Hej, Klostervænget findes ikke som stednavn i Svendborg.

| 139202000 | over 2 years ago | Hi, I ended up using landuse=garages as the best compromise. It's rendered in carto and the surface is rendered in F4Demo, |
| 139202000 | over 2 years ago | No problem - I think. Landover is used on an area which is landuse=residential. :-) Michael |
| 139202000 | over 2 years ago | Hello again, Okey :-) This solution would be fine for me, but i reckon highway would need a common node with a nearby road. highway=service
So I'll try landcover=paving_stones first. Kind regards
|
| 139202000 | over 2 years ago | Thanks Marc, As it is a driveway, I would actually still prefer to use landuse=driveway. But I'm not seeking to "disturb" the common way to use "driveway" on roads only, Landuse=service seems somewhat unprecise to me. I have occasionally used landuse=paved (+ surface), and this is also more commonly used when I'm checking it in Taginfo. Would that be a way to do it? Kind regards
|
| 139202000 | over 2 years ago | Helle Marc, I was recommeded to do so by another experienced mapper, although it's not standard use of "driveway". This is to map areas on private ground in front of private houses with traffic to the house, as there doesn't seem to be other appropriate types of landuses. Mapping driveways as small roads wil just clutter the map, without giving any real meaning. By mapping driveways as areas I can also add surfaces, which are visible in 3D- I'm open to other ways of mapping these landuses for driveways. Do you have suggestions. Kind regards
