| 32697633 | over 10 years ago | Some of the edits did also introduce strange tags on highways, for example capacity=*. The edits seem to infringe the automated edits code of conduct also: osm.wiki/Automated_Edits_code_of_conduct |
| 32697031 | over 10 years ago | Hello comandant3, it seems that you're not familiar with editing administrative boundaries as you've damaged about 100 of them so please don't edit them as this causes work for others who have to fix the boundaries. Please do respect the OSMF guidelines regarding disputed territories: http://wiki.osmfoundation.org/w/images/d/d8/DisputedTerritoriesInformation.pdf
I've reverted your edits regarding administrative boundaries as some where clearly politically motivated (for example the deletion of the boundary of Nagorno-Karabakh) and other edits where technically incorrect (unclosed Multipolygon). Regards, 4rch |

| 32489537 | over 10 years ago | It’s fine for me if the ISO 3166 key is upper case and it would be fine for me if the key is lower case. I don’t care. The only thing I’m interested in is to use keys consistently. If I’d stumble upon a ISO key which isn’t consistently used I’ll correct this key according to the majority of the ISO keys. Thanks. |
| 32489537 | over 10 years ago | You’re saying that upper case is wrong but you haven’t provided any valuable source yet. You’ve just pointed to one entry from a user who has already made other dubious changes in the Wiki in the past. Only 15% of the ISO 3166-2 keys are in low-case! 15% vs. 85% - seems pretty clear who is right. Nevertheless, even if you’re right and that the key was documented in the past – tagging behaviour can change and this would be a very clear case then that the tagging has changed for ISO keys. I’d propose to properly document the ISO3166-2=* key in the Wiki. If you insist, I can change the ISO 3166-2 keys in Uruguay back to low-letter. |

| 32489537 | over 10 years ago | Hello, this documentation was written in May 2015 by "Xxzme": osm.wiki/Special:BlockList?wpTarget=Xxzme This user got banned from the wiki till August because of his controversial edits. |
| 32489537 | over 10 years ago | Regarding "change all tags into lower case": the majority of the ISO-tags (5 vs. 1) is in upper case. So it's pretty clear that upper case is right. Approved by the majority of the mappers. |
| 32489537 | over 10 years ago | Hello muralito, there was about 2700 x ISO3166-2 and 500 x iso3166-2 in the database before I've changed some tags. For ISO3166-1 it's even clearer: 330 times upper case, zero times lower case. I can see no reason why I should change some tags back. It makes no sense to have inconsistent tags in our database. | 31306158 | over 10 years ago | Node gelöscht.

| 32234822 | over 10 years ago | Hello ViriatoLusitano, See also my comment here: changeset/31909873 it’s hard to compare different disputed areas as there are always different parameters.
I’d like to point to the OSMF guidelines (chapter "borders and boundaries"): http://wiki.osmfoundation.org/w/images/d/d8/DisputedTerritoriesInformation.pdf For Olivença it is clear that Spain has the physical control over this area so there shouldn’t be any overlap between both countries as this wouldn't reflect the reality on the ground. |
| 31909873 | over 10 years ago | Hello ViriatoLusitano_import, please do respect the OSMF guidelines on disputed boundaries: http://wiki.osmfoundation.org/w/images/d/d8/DisputedTerritoriesInformation.pdf The changes you've made do not comply with the situation on the ground. I'll revert your changes. If you have the demand to talk we can have a discussion at http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewforum.php?id=10 or here.

| 32029808 | over 10 years ago | Hallo gepeix, was willst du mit dem Changesetkommentar "Volagen neu" aussagen? | 31765748 | over 10 years ago | Hallo, offenbar hast du mehrere Naturschutzgebiete in OpenStreetMap importiert. Wo is die Dokumentation über diesen Import im Wiki dazu? Wo kann ich die Erlaubnis einsehen, dass Daten des Schutzgebietskataster des Saarlandes in OpenStreetMap hochgeladen werden dürfen? Gruß Arch |

| 32001195 | over 10 years ago | Hello shravan91, I've reverted the following Changesets for technical reasons (unclosed Multipolygon):
Please take account of the OSMF guidelines on disputed boundaries: http://wiki.osmfoundation.org/w/images/d/d8/DisputedTerritoriesInformation.pdf Western Sahara isn't a country atm. We had already an discussion about the issue at http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=27301 |
