| 33534334 | over 10 years ago | Ich bezweifle, dass der Flussabschnitt "Renaturierung Schmutter / Bypass" heißt.
Really? siehe osm.wiki/DE:Names#name_ist_nur_der_Name Gruß |
| 33534723 | over 10 years ago | Hallo FraToWe, bitte erfinde keine eigenen Namen. Falls ein Weg keinen Namen hat dann ist das halt so.

| 33363926 | over 10 years ago | Hello john, as you may know, Western Sahara isn't a country. It is a disputed territory. One part is occupied by Morocco, the other part by Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic. So please don't tag Western Sahara as country (admin_level=2) in OpenStreetMap. We had already a discussion on this in the OSM forum. Regards, Arch |
| 33065361 | over 10 years ago | Danke, dachte ich mir schon fast. Gruß |
| 33065361 | over 10 years ago | Warum hast du die beiden Teilstücke der Grenze gelöscht? Ich habe die Grenze äußerst gewissenhaft eingezeichnet. Hab die Löschung revertet. |
| 33330641 | over 10 years ago | Revert due to changeset/33348208 as this changeset damaged the boundary of Malaysia. See http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?pid=523655#p523655 |

| 33239511 | over 10 years ago | sorry, I've forgot to mention the JOSM editor which checks validity: https://josm.openstreetmap.de/ |

| 33239511 | over 10 years ago | Hello johnparis, please do not edit administrative boundaries with iD editor. iD has no built in validator so you get no warnings when you damage multipolygons. Yesterday you've damaged some administrative boundaries in Morocco (I've already repaired some of them): https://osm.wno-edv-service.de/index.php/10-osm-reports/280-countries-compare-2015-08-10 Today you've also damaged some administrative boundaries: https://osm.wno-edv-service.de/index.php/10-osm-reports/281-countries-compare-2015-08-11 Regards, 4rch |

| 32697633 | over 10 years ago | @Locksmith: And how were the speed limits obtained? Regarding Highway capacity: I still think this isn't a suitable information for OpenStreetMap. As the highway capacity is calculated from highway, maxspeed and lanes tags it can be calculated externally. It isn't neccessary to store this information in the OSM database. |
| 32697633 | over 10 years ago | Regarding the capacity: good practice in OSM is, that every data should be verifiable which means that it's observable by other mappers. osm.wiki/Verifiability
This would have also other benefits as maxspeed informations, etc. can change and then the capacity information you've added would be wrong as other mappers may not know your calculation formula and won't modify the capacity information. |
| 32697633 | over 10 years ago | @Petros, from which sources did you obtain the maxspeeds and road names? In changeset/32601644 you've mentioned Google Street View as source which is'nt a legal source for OpenStreetMap because whe have no permission to use it. |
| 32697633 | over 10 years ago | @Walter: There where other problems either, for example the undocumented usage of the "capacity" tag on highways. Maybe a tag like "car:capacity" fits better. But this needs discussion either.
As I've already mentioned above, I've reverted all informations you've added due to changeset/32715153 so there's no obstacle to make a new import following the Import guidelines: osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines

| 32750043 | over 10 years ago | Hello comandant3, as I've already mentioned, please don't make political motivated edits which do break administrative boundaries. If you have found a boundary which doesn't reflect the situation on the ground, then please start a discussion, for example at the talk mailinglist: https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk
You can also contact the Data Working Group: osm.wiki/Data_working_group If your edits regarding boundaries should continue, I'd have to ask the Data Working Group to block you. I've reverted the edits which you've made today. Regards, 4rch Please read also my previous comment: changeset/32697031 |
| 32697633 | over 10 years ago | Ok, I've reverted all problematic edits due to changeset/32715153 @petros: please make yourself familiar with the OSM data model and guidelines before you apply further changesets. Thanks |
