An ice hazard is an area where ice tends to form more frequently than surrounding areas, presenting a sudden loss of traction hazard to motorists. Only use this tag when it is indicated by road signs.
Signage examples
The tables below show what ice hazard signage looks like in various countries. Note that some countries use the same sign symbology that's in use for hazard=slippery, but with an additional plate to indicate ice and/or snow.
