Category:Mismatched description

This category shows all Key:* and Tag:* pages where the description in the sidebar does not match the one in the data item.

From the guidelines: Description is the primary way to describe the key using proper sentences that end with a period, and whose first word is capitalized. Must not contain any wiki markup or HTML. Must be less than 250 symbols.

How to correct the description?

Select your language from the list below and navigate to an article.
In the sidebar on the right (in RTL languages on the left) after the description there is a red pencil icon , which tells you that the description in the article is not the same as in the data item. The gray pencil is the link to the data item. Click it and open it in a new tab. Compare the descriptions and decide which one to correct.
Also pay attention to the English version of the description, maybe the English version has changed in the meantime and the translation should be updated.
Why is it important that the descriptions are the same? The description in the infobox is visible in the Wiki article, and the one with the data item is visible in external applications that use data items, such as the basic browser-based editor iD see image.
