Please add sells:gas_cylinder=yes
The domestic gas cylinder (which usually contains butane or propane) is something that can be sold in many types of shops, and it would be usefull to have a tag like this. --AntMadeira (talk) 20:56, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
Proceeding with the proposal
I'm very favourable to this proposal, how should it proceed so it's voted for and accepted? --McCio (talk) 11:04, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
- You could ask the author if you can adopt it to propose on your own, or do it if no response after some weeks. But recently there was a rejected vote for
rental:*=*vs*:rental=*, whereservice:*:rental=*was brought up. Related to it, there isservice:*:retail=*, which may be better thansells:*=*consideringservice:bicycle:retail=*is already voted in Proposal:Service:bicycle forshop=bicycleas a result. Proposal_talk:Power_Bank_Rental#*:rental_versus_rental:*
One advantage of using*retail*=*in some order somehow is it could logically be complemented by*wholesale*=*easily when needed. This can extendwholesale=*together.

sellsːnewspapers VS sellsːnewspaper
In the proposal you wrote "sellsːnewspapers" with the trailing "s". I think it would be better to use the singular form like other services ("tobacco", "lottery", ...) and suggest to be coherent in the choice when adding an user defined value. As bonus point, consider that "recycling:newspaper" (singular form) has 15k+ uses according to taginfo.
Thanks
