Once again, nonsensical translations, provocations, and attempts at an editing war. User Oivo357 translates into Czech and Slovak, but does so stupidly and foolishly, using only a machine translator without any knowledge of specific national characteristics and formulations. Incorrect translation
@Dušan Kreheľ: Hi, why only "diaľnica" - "motorway"? This key is applicable on all kind of road and path. And why didn't you translate these words "abandoned and fallen into serious disrepair, but which is still visible in the landscape"?

- @Oivo357 and HaPe-CZ: Preklad je podľa mňa okey, lebo prekladá sa hlavný tag, nie jeho jeden špeciálny podtyp. Ďalej, pojem diaľnica je základný pojem slovenčiny (ako pre učiaceho cudzinca) a pojem „rýchlostná cesta“ je príbuzný, „rozšírena diaľnica“ a OSM je podtyp diaľnice. - @Oivo357:: Chceme doslovný preklad (všetky možnosti) alebo všeobecný (označuje hlavný termín, a pri práci s odvodeným termínom budem pracovať aj so „skupinovým termínom“? Aký je problém (pre všetky možnosti) za slovom diaľnica pridať možnosť, že „(a pod.)“ (#1) alebo dať termín diaľnice do úvodzoviek (#2, asi najvhodnejšie), aby čitateľ vedel, že nemá termín brať doslova. … Mne to stačí (resp. vyhovuje), ako to je teraz, t. j. špecifikovať „základný kľúčový skupinový termín“ (podobne je formulovaný aj anglický text a tam problém nie je). --Dušan Kreheľ (talk) 12:13, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
- Once again. "Diaľnica" in OSM is motorway, not highway. Therefore, highways is translated in OSM as:
- Czech silnice not dálnice
- German Straßen not Autobahn
- Spanish viales not autopista or autovía
- French voirie not autoroute or autostradę
- Italian strade not autostrada
- Dutch wegen not autosnelweg or snelweg
- Polish drogi not autostrada or droga autostradowa

@Dušan Kreheľ: … User @Oivo357: uses only mechanical translations between English and Czech and between English and Slovak (deepl.com). It does not deal with meanings and the overall context of the translation at all. Sometimes I correct his translations, but he reverts them and causes edit wars. His translations are unclear, confusing, and sometimes even completely inaccurate and erroneous. I have previously commented on his item descriptions, but he has not responded.
