Do you currently have any conflicts of interest that might affect your role on the Board? If so, what are they and how would you manage them? Can you share examples of how you have handled conflicts of interest in the past?

Few conflicts of interest in the broad sense (and none in the sense of UK law) have happened.
In the last board period, one appeal about a DWG decision reached the board where I have been involved. I recused from the discussion, and the rest of the board made a sane decision. Likely in the board, every now and then board member either recuse from discussion or voting to avoid even the possibility of non-impartial decisions. The routine works well.
No conflicts of interest with my day job, family or other people on private relations have arisen over the time.

I currently have no conflicts of interest that would impact my role on the OSMF Board. Should any arise, I will promptly disclose them to the Board and recuse myself from decisions where impartiality could be compromised, adhering to OSMF’s conflict of interest policies. In a past volunteer role with a local mapping initiative, I stepped back from a funding decision involving an organization I was affiliated with, ensuring an unbiased process. I would apply the same rigor and transparency to maintain the community’s trust as a board member.
