Regarding this 16 year old fixme, there is a sign at the corner of Rillbank Terrace that says Rillbank Crescent. I can’t tell from a survey where it becomes Melville Terrace but the current layout seems plausible and correct. I’ll remove the FIXME, i’m sure 16 years later it will be quite a relief to you 😜

Hi, Happy to comply with local custom but I must point out that's not the meaning of bicycle=dismount according to the wiki. But if that's what the rest of the map uses here, I'll stick to that from now on, thanks.

Hello all, personally I think the intention here is good but adding a site-specific tag with a URL in it is not the right approach. The airport data on OSM already contains multiple IDs (IATA, ICAO, Wikidata) which refer to existing standards and can be used to join OSM data with other databases. There's no need to create new tags or point to specific URLs which are likely to stop working some day.

Thanks for fixing! If it's not too much work could you also fix relation/16622635 (same route, other direction)? It needs the same treatment. Cheers!

Hello, this changeset seems to have turned the Edinburgh-Dundee E1 into an Edinburgh-Borders bus. In reality the E1 route has not changed and continues to go to Dundee, it looks like this has applied another bus' route to this relation?

Hello Mateusz!

It's an office where you can sign up for internet service. TVNet is an ISP.

Other shops like this in Sofia are tagged shop=telecommunication -- that's probably what this should use actually. Happy to make the change.

Sounds good! 👍

I've made the change: https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=109971837

I also agree about updating the wiki, it would definitely help!

Actually, reading the wiki, I think setting maxspeed=BG:urban would probably be best

94461293 over 4 years ago

I think you're right, it makes sense to just remove the maxspeed and let it fall back to the default. I'll do that.

94461293 over 4 years ago

I made lists of all ways that currently have maxspeed=30, and where the maxspeed tag was set to 30 either by me, or one of the Kaart team. To undo that, I propose to:

1: remove the maxspeed tag on these: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1agn

2: reset the maxspeed to 50 on these: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1agp

3: reset the maxspeed to 40 on these: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1agr

I excluded from these lists ways of *_link type, my thinking is that the speed sign there is probably indicative of the speed on the entire way, e.g. the "30" sign visible on the off ramp here: https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=502283867564811 applies to all this:way/15241998

Let me know what you think, and if you agree I'll make the changes.

Happy to help, sure. We could start with this, a map of all the roads that have maxspeed=30: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1afE

I imagine some of these are legitimate. The ones in Lyulin are probably all from me, I can remove those. Some random clicking suggests most of the other results are from the Kaart team who did a lot of mapping ~2 years ago. They're not local, probably they were as confused as me.

I see. Thanks for clarifying.

Hello, it's what the traffic signs on the street say.

The OSM wiki also says "Don't map turn restrictions that are the default for a given jurisdiction and are not signed."

Hey thanks! I'm going to Stranraer in a few weeks, and I'm tracing as much as I can from imagery now, hoping to get some surveying done when I'm there.

I would've thought it was forbidden to walk on the road itself where there's a pavement, but if you say so. Cheers.
