| 126138420 | over 3 years ago | Hi, good job, but I have some suggestions. The correct way to tag this would be to make an area of the territory (select maa-amet cadastral map from the menu on the right and use it), put nursing home related tags on it. Then, add building=yes to the buildings, since currently OSM doesn't see them as buildings. Also I see that they are probably traced by the top of ongoing construction photos, but you actually should trace by the base of the building. I'd recommend selecting them and using "move" tool from the right-click menu to align shapes with the base of photographed buildings. |
| 126122797 | over 3 years ago | You can also add
to the tags. |
| 126122797 | over 3 years ago | And remove 'kohvik' from there |
| 126122797 | over 3 years ago | Good to see businesses adding themselves on the map. One minor thing - waffles in cuisine is written in many ways, I'd suggest to just use "waffle". It's documented in the wiki osm.wiki/Tag%3Acuisine%3Dwaffle

| 126130776 | over 3 years ago | way/629198769/history#map=19/59.47383/24.89777 It looks like it was fixed only 8 days ago. Maybe your routing software had an outdated version of the map. Thx for reverting to a more simple variant! |
| 125866427 | over 3 years ago | Good job, Aulo's edits are something. |
| 119758800 | over 3 years ago | @Pikse, you're doing good job by fixing these errors, but it doesn't look like @Aulo reads these messages. Don't know how tedious your fixes are, but maybe try private messages? There is also an option to report to an admin and they have tools to make someone read a message without assigning guilt or banning. |
| 126130776 | over 3 years ago | Hi, please don't overcomplicate junctions. As far as I can see, nothing was missing here. Separate lanes should not be mapped as separate ways. |
| 123959163 | over 3 years ago | Also I don't see the point of changing highway=path to cycleway on combined bicycle-pedestrian paths. This road is both for pedestrians and cyclists. Most data consumers will treat them the same, but cyclosm will draw them differently. iD editor does prefer highway=cycleway, but it doesn't make it the only correct way. I don't care much which tagging scheme is used, but I think it's better to keep changes to a minimum. |
| 123959163 | over 3 years ago | Hi, I see you've added many bicycle=yes tags. Please use bicycle=designated if it's a bicycle or a combined bicycle/pedestrian path. Keep in mind that cycling on sidewalks and footways is against the law in Estonia and bicycle=yes should not be added to them. |
| 123871110 | over 3 years ago | Hi, you've made quite a lot of max speed edits. Do you live in Estonia? Speed limit is seasonal, are you sure all these roads will still have it in winter? There is already conditional speed limit marked for them. |
| 123522289 | over 3 years ago | highway=path is the one which doesn't give preference to either pedestrians or cyclists, IMO. It's also the one given as example here bicycle=designated |
| 123522289 | over 3 years ago | Hi, this update doesn't really do anything useful. These paths are not cycleways and not footways. They are combined pedestrian-bicycle paths and all of these 3 tagging schemes are equivalent: highway=footway
highway=cycleway
highway=path
You can read more on this topic here
iD editor (the one you use in the browser) does prefer highway=cycleway, but iD editor's opinions do not define a standard in OSM. Please refrain of changes like this in the future. |
| 123347828 | over 3 years ago | Hi, all name tag values should be in a local language. You can add a name:de= tag for German. But still, you should avoid translating names, like "Kassioru => Katzental", unless they are actually known by that translation.

| 120431609 | over 3 years ago | Hi, be careful, you've accidentally moved a node which broke a lot more important roads than you've added. https://osmhv.openstreetmap.de/changeset.jsp?id=120431609 Such mistakes happen and I've fixed it, but please don't blindly accept all iD editor's fix suggestions. The roads affected were connected to the new road, which shows that you've clicked 'apply suggestion' without actually checking it out. |
| 121974200 | over 3 years ago | Hi,
2) You've changed some service roads to residential and named them Jõe. Maa-amet and tee register don't know anything about it. You shouldn't name roads adjacent to a street the same as the street. It's ok that they don't have a name. I hope you didn't copy this from google, as google's license doesn't allow that and they are a bad source of data. The same goes for Aiandi street. |
| 121928864 | over 3 years ago | Hi, good job, but there are two things I've noticed about your edit
2) Cycleway or any other road should be connected to the roads it connects to in reality. Otherwise routing software won't be able to take it into account. |
| 121093579 | over 3 years ago | Please be more accurate with your edits, the road goes through bollards on the map. I'd recommend to use Maa-amet's cadastre aerial imagery. You can choose it from the right-hand menu. Bing is the default, but it's very inaccurate, outdated and blurry. |
| 121092676 | over 3 years ago | I wouldn't name that whole area a park. The area near Linnamäe tee 38b isn't being taken care of. |
| 121367816 | over 3 years ago | There are different types of bicycles and riders with different skill level.
I wouldn't add a bicycle tag here. See
