about 5 years ago | Thank you, tsuell for mapping in OpenStreetMap and adding this valuable information to it. I want to report back, as I reached out to tsuell directly and received this statement on lack of copyright permission: > I got from the city council for free (it saiys it was done with funds from the municipality of Toscana - intenational collaboration funds in 2013), it lacks any mention of copyright or licence Thus, the source has no proper permission, neither there has been any consultation in the community, where this would have been easily spotted. Unfortunately, as far as I see, this changeset needs to be deleted.
about 5 years ago | What is the copyright permission or license of the source data?
almost 6 years ago | They are now assigned to the exact building (Bogen) polygon and not a separate badly placed markers.
almost 6 years ago | There were some markers (seemed to come from imports) that were not fitting the numbering of the "Bahnbögen". I work there and verified locally.
over 9 years ago | I partially reverted this changeset with this one here: changeset/40816773 It was another big chunk of work, as within the time of reversion by 4rch people had made improvements in several places and these had to be added manually. Please contact before deleting work of local mappers!
over 9 years ago | This is another relatively good source: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mapa_B_Fallo_Litigio_Nicaragua-Colombia.svg
over 9 years ago | Actually, the way you left it, the Colombian maritime border is from before the sentence of 2015. All the manual work I put into this to include Nicaragua's maritime border and to respect the international court order has been deleted. Not nice!
| 38051221 | over 9 years ago | Dear 4rch,
|
over 9 years ago | Yes, the boundary you are pointing to is the one I noticed as missing. The other maritime borders of Costa Rica and Colombia I also touched and improved tagging. Those were in incomplete shape, which I did not change. The source for Nicaragua's maritime border is the International Court Order (at the end of the document, there are the images): http://www.icj-cij.org/docket/files/124/17162.pdf
over 9 years ago | Dear 4rch, I just saw you deleted hard work from me. Especially the relation about the maritime borders of Nicaragua (relation/5945359). They were based on the latest court order from Den Haag international court. This was a clear improvement, why did you delete this without asking? Can we please get this back. Thanks.
