Als Quelle gibst du den RMV an - hast du eine schriftliche Genehmigung die Daten für OSM zu verwenden? Die Nutzungsbedingungen geben das nicht her.

It seems we have a completely different understanding of this key.

For me, 'oneway' can never be 'abandoned' because it's impossible to have a rule/regulation (and oneway is nothing else) "fallen into serious disrepair".
And actually this was the only reason I edited this way in the first place - 'abandoned:hgv' doesn't make any sense to me.

Only because of this edit I also touched the 'highway' tag and changed it to my preferred tagging. I'm fine with having the 'abandoned' in a separate tag, but "rendering" can't be an argument to prefer one of them.

If something doesn't exist any more, it can't be abandoned.

Both using the prefix 'abandoned' and using an extra 'abandoned' key are valid ways to add the information that an object is not maintained any more.

If one or the other tag is ignored by some renderer, this is a software issue, but not an issue with tagging.

Die Menge an verschiedenen Kanälen ist ein Problem, aber bei einem so großen Projekt auch nicht anders machbar. Die Talk-Wikiseiten lesen nur Leute die aktiv an dem Tag gearbeitet haben und die Seite in den 3 Wochen vor deinem Eintrag besucht haben.
Normale User kriegen das nicht mit (hast du ja bei mir gesehen). Wer das Tag setzt schaut auch nicht jedes Mal auf der Wiki-Seite nach. Und Presets im Editor sind nochmal eine andere Sache.

Genaugenommen müsste man jetzt alle bestehenden plastic_bottles durchsehen und prüfen ob sie nicht durch das neue Tag ersetzt werden müssen. Und alle Anwendungen müssen auch umgeschrieben werden - jetzt fehlen plötzlich Sammelstellen weil dort das bekannte Tag nicht mehr verwendet wird.

Ist ein riesiger Rattenschwanz der da dran hängt und die Tagging Mailingliste erreicht immer noch die meisten Leute.

Üblicherweise werden für de Abkürzungen in "ref" Tags Großbuchstaben verwendet, also ref:DHL, ref:GLS

Ich würde ebenso "ref:Hermes" verwenden.

Bis jetzt werden deine Keys mit kleinen Buchstaben nicht verwendet. Was meinst du?

ich habe nicht gesehen, dass du vor 3 Tagen ein neues Tag ins Wiki eingeführt hast.
Kommentare auf den Talk-Seiten im Wiki bekommen nur sehr wenige Leute mit.

Da das Thema ein globales Problem ist, würde ich vorschlagen dass mal auf der Tagging-Mailingliste anzusprechen. Ich gehe nämlich davon aus, dass die allermeisten Mapper plastic_bottles als Synonym zu PET-Flaschen verstehen.
Wenn das so ist, haben wir ein Tagging-Problem, bei dem verschiedene Mapper ein Tag unterschiedlich interpretieren.

Do these graves have a special name? The design looks quite distinctive.
