Hi,
what's the meaning of the new 'stpauls' tag here? Is this some kind of official route?

Hallo,
bitte schau mal nach den "socket" Tags. Ein "socket:ccs" gibt es nicht:

socket:*=*

Hi,
could you check your recent edits? I found 8 large areas with only four foreign tags that seem to be duplicates of boundaries that already exist in OSM.

Hi,
please have a look at the destination signs: The destinations are tagged (counterintuitively) using "direction_south", not "destination_south"

Hi,
could you check your naptan tags? e.g. it's "naptan:AtcoCode", not "naptan:ATCOCode"

Hi,
what does the tag "RoW=yes" mean? It's not used in other places.

The easiest way is to search for the tag on Taginfo and then use the "Overpass Turbo" link.

Hi,
could you check the historic objects you added recently? They all have 4 strange tags that look like they shouldn't be in OSM.

Hallo,
bitte schau mal nach der richtigen Schreibweise von Tags. Ich sehe hier unter anderem

class bicycle
class-bicycle
class_bicycel
class_bicycle
class_bycycle

Hi,
welcome to OSM.
You uploaded a large number of short streets on top of existing ones.
When editing, please make sure that you always change the old objects and don't add new ones additionally.

This import also created many objects without any valid tags and with tags that should not appear in OSM, e.g.
way/1293588436

IMO this import should be reverted and can be done properly again, based on our import rules:

Hi,
could you explain the meaning of the tag "lane driving =Right"? Do you really drive on the right hand side of the road here?

Hi,
please don't add hundreds of Wikipedia tags to one single object.
It's fully sufficient to have ONE link to Wikipedia per object. Wikipedia itself has a great directory linking the individual language pages with each other. There is no need to misuse the OSM database as a secondary, not well maintained directory for Wikipedia.

This seems to get too complicated for a changeset discussion. Let's continue in the forums (but not today).

I think ':lanes' is the wrong concept here. We're not tagging a lane-dependent property as the ':lanes' Suffix suggests.
Isn't the fitting terminology "parking on the carriageway"?
Maybe something like:

parking:carriageway:restriction = no_stopping

The term "carriageway" is already used in OSM referring to the main part of the road that is used by cars driving along.

Hi,
this intention wasn't clear to me from the tags. It rather looked like the leftovers from some older tagging of someone not familiar with the use of parking tags.

There was a question about something similar a few weeks ago: parking in marked areas allowed, but stopping in unmarked areas allowed as well.

I think it doesn't help to start with ":lanes" and "backward/forward" in this case.

The most flexible way seems to be to extend the conditional syntax with the values of parking positions , e.g.

restriction:conditional = no_parking; none @ parking=markings

restriction:conditional = no_stopping @ parking=on_street; no_parking @ parking=street_side

This scheme seems to fit in well with other conditions like access restrictions for fuel=diesel or maxgcweight>3.5.

Maybe you have a photo of such a restriction? We could make a post in the forums and ask for comments.

Das kann gut sein. Allerdings gibt es genau dafür das wesentlich häufiger benutzte und ältere

highway=footway
footway=sidewalk

bzw hier, wo es als path getaggt ist

highway=path
path=sidewalk

Leider benutzen post_office und parcel_locker unterschiedliche Keys für die angebotenen Services. Das wollte ich korrigieren...
Danke für's fixen von meinem Tippfehler!
