Changeset When Comment

Please explain this import. It created a large amount of objects without any valid tag. The changeset does not contain any source information - what is the source, what is the license?

GTL is an abbreviation for "Gas-to-Liquids" and Shell happens to sell it with that name.

But actually I wouldn't be surprised to find strange entries in the iD menues - the developers have their own idea about good tags which often don't match up with the opinion of the rest of the community. This already led to several discussions and arguments...

Hi,
In general, we only tag the generic names of fuels, but not brand names like "Super Extreme".
E.g. "fuel:octane_100" is a perfectly valid tag.

Which list do you refer to? The first reference should always be the table in the Wiki:
fuel=*
E.g. there is fuel:GTL_diesel for high-quality diesel.

Hi,
welcome to OSM. You used several uncommon keys here, e.g.
speed humps
speed hump
Speed umps

Please use only the keys that are described in the Wiki or those available as presets in your editor. You're looking for:
traffic_calming=*

Hi,
what is 'fuel:Blue_diesel'? This tag is not used in other places. Is it taxfree fuel?

Hi.
I didn't add these tags, this was

Hi,
welcome to OSM!
You used several tags here that are not used in other places. Please have a look to the Wiki and see how features of trees are usually tagged. New tags without documentation are not really useful, because no other user can understand and interpret them.

E.g.
Estimated_age=10-50
Health=4
species=albero
trunk_inclination=0
trunk_rotation=0

Thank you for the explanation!
I checked Taginfo and couldn't find anything about RACQ and other automobile clubs as a property of POIs.
I think that 'service:vehicle' is a bit strange for this, because this key is usually focused on kinds of repair provided.
Yours is somehow a cooperation of this company with another one. Maybe we can find a better tag in the future.

Hi,
could you check this way? It has only one strange tag:
way/852316383

Hi,
could you check this church? You changed the 'name' to 'dei'.

Hi,
what does 'permissive_left' mean? This tag is not used in any other place.

Hi,
what does 'service:vehicle:RACQ' mean? This is not used in other places.

Ich bin weder Experte für noch Fan von diesen Tags :-)

Es gibt zwei grundlegende Keys,
parking:lane:... (für alle physikalischen Eigenschaften)
parking:condition:... (für alle rechtlichen Einschränkungen)

"parking:condition:right:disabled" gibt es nicht, gebräuchlich wäre "parking:lane:right:capacity:disabled".
Ich blicke da auch nicht durch und suche immer nach benutzten Keys in Taginfo.

Sorry... I just fixed this one spelling mistake and didn't notice they were that far apart.

Hi,
I found the new tag 'stanitsa' on several objects. Could you check this? Is there no established tag for this purpose?

Hi,
I found several buildings like this one with many foreign tags. Could you check that?

Hi,
the way you added the shop itself (with its name and shop tags) is fine, I just wondered about the three tags I mentioned above - these are not common.

Btw, in your first changeset you deleted a building. Did you do this on purpose? Was this building razed?

91257876 over 5 years ago

Hi,
could you explain what these tags mean?
service:bicycle:Kaabo
service:bicycle:Kaabo_Mantis
service:bicycle:electric_scooters

They are not used by anybody else at the moment.

91453880 over 5 years ago

When it comes to 'Arecacaea', we already have more than 2000 'genus', more than 500 'species' and 1000 'taxon'. All of these keys are documented in the Wiki. We don't need yet another, undocumented tag for the same thing.
OSM is not a botanical database where we need to be precise about the different taxonomic levels.

Hi,
welcome to OSM! Did you want to add a public bookcase here?
