I recently returned from a trip to Flinders Island. Previously it was just a coastline and a single airstrip, I've since added lots of roads, and am now adding names from the audio recordings made. I stopped for some photos at one particular location, not realising until a couple of days later that I was within a hundred metres of the junction between latitude -40 and longitude 148.

I had looked at this site several months ago, seeing the line painted on the road on Flinders with a sign marked 'You are now crossing the 40th Parallel' (that according to my GPS was too far north!) reminded me of this site, but I didn't have time to go back. The site needs specific photos, mine aren't suitable (e.g. none looking at the site of the confluence).
