following Bing imagery, after comparing it to Esri imagery and GPS
traces from the server, and even the old Esri Clarity imagery, all of

I have no idea where the 1685 came from. On the other hand, https://portal.opentopography.org/raster?opentopoID=OTSRTM.082015.4326.1 gives 1716, from SRTM scanning. Wikidata has 1667, quoting Wikipedia (which is questionable), and Wikipedia links to https://web.archive.org/web/20141031094927/http://summitcheeseburger.com/summits/country/NA/Namibia, which is hardly a reliable source either. I don’t intend to criticise you, it was just a question.

Hi bootstrap999, in this edit you moved (by accident, I assume) a junction node by a few hundred yards to the southwest (see https://ibb.co/S7smq70z ). It has already been fixed a few days later, so no action needed, but please take care :)

In the UK, an A road is highway=primary, and a primary route (green signs) is highway=trunk. Both classifications apply for the entire distance, no need to cut it up into pieces. The A6055 does not have green signs, so it’s hw=primary entirely.

Hallo, gegen das Nachjustieren von destination-Tags hat keiner was, aber kann es sein, dass du außerdem Kurven, die ich vor 4 Jahren sorgfältig sauber ausgerundet gemappt habe, wieder kantig und grob gemacht hast? Absicht oder Versehen? Machst du das wieder wie vorher, oder soll ich dieselbe Arbeit nochmal machen, weils so schön war?

Feel free to add the tag anyway, it won’t do any harm. My argument was rather questioning the use of designation=* in such cases generally :)

Though the tag you mentioned might be used according to taginfo, I personally don’t think it’s appropriate because "permissive" is not a designation (in terms of an administrative act) but a granted, revokable permission by the landowner to be used by the public, and shouldn’t be treated the same way as a legal right to use the path in question as its legal status is not at all affected by the permission. That’s why I think an access tag, as set by me, is more appropriate.

Hi Taunide, Kahlschlag ja. Aber Heide nicht. Heidelandschaft (durch Beweidung oder Abflämmen dauerhaft baumlos) ist etwas vollkommen anderes als geernteter Wald (der ja wieder nachwächst). Für Kahlschlag gibt es man_made=clearcut.

Thanks for reverting. Unfortunately, the user created dozens or more of such changesets. Maybe DWG should be notified to get that all undone.
