We have a tag to describe a road where cars are restricted: highway=pedestrian + motor_vehicle=destination.

Hello, approaches to roundabouts use the ordinary road types, and not the "_link" variants.

Hello, please use descriptive changesets comments. I ask this because we recently dealt with a mapper who left bad changeset comments while making problematic edits, and made numerous accounts to get around the blocks.

The junction layout that you mapped at 39.5549520,19.9120813, 39.5704980,19.8928244 and 39.5904770,19.8929881 do not reflect reality: they are in fact simple undivided junctions. Only map junction layouts that reflect reality.

It would be great to know where the documentation is for the rule. Thanks.

Regarding changeset/164906440#c1451135, if you provide a link to the discussion, I will try to adjust my mapping practices especially if the community post was recent.

No, not government surveillance: I happen to come across the mapping error while I was proof-reading National Roads after many years of neglect, but all of our edits including mine are documented in the version history, which editors use to determine who made the erroneous edit. I also get questions about my edits from time to time: see https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=4763179

At the coordinates, there are two corner "filter" roads that are marked by road markings. Unlike roads separated only by hatched lines (a type of road marking), we map corner filter roads if they are marked by road markings.

I wish to ask why are you deleting filter roads that were marked with hatched lines, like at 37.5371688,22.7169448 ?

I am concerned that you are not leaving descriptive changeset comments: "fix issues" isn't clear enough.

The first word of the comment was a typo: it was supposed to read EO2.

…and one way roads, too. While the National roads should be as close to the city centre as possible, practicality is a major factor.

Hello, what is the source for the ΕΟ23 road? The road doesn't appear in the 1963 and 1998 list of roads. If there is no source then we cannot map the ΕΟ23. Please see: osm.wiki/Greece/National_Road_Network

It was first added by blocked user Delta Evas ALL. The relation has been removed: changeset/167372596

Hello, please ask OSM US to extend the challenge to the whole country. @AwoowoArne, @kiwi75 and I have been working on landuse but progress has been painfully slow, and Greece's landuse looks embarrassingly undermapped compared to many countries in Europe. Completing landuse will allow us to focus our limited resources on other critical elements like railways, roads and waterways.

I am trying my best to make sure you do not accidentally end up at the first toll station in the first place. For example, at way/91896251 I have added destination information on what lane to use to reach the toll-free exit slip. It will take time for the navigator to pick up the new data. Please be patient.

161071777 7 months ago

Can you please tell me what journey is causing the error? Because I also have Magic Earth.

161071777 7 months ago

I ran a test journey from Magoula to Patras, and while Magic Earth is capable of detecting toll roads, it will not tell you where and how any times you need to pay the toll. In addition, it appears that the signage for the toll-free slip road before the first toll station at osm.org/?mlat=38.042214&mlon=23.495700 is really dodgy: you have to keep to the rightmost lane to access that slip road.

If the results by Magic Earth is still tricking you into paying tolls, then you may want to file a bug report with them: we are trying our best to make the toll information as complete as possible, which can be seen at the Americana map, but not all routers detect toll roads, nor tell you where you must pay tolls.

Which app are you using? I am not sure how old the data the app is using. Either way, I think setting that exit slip to "toll=yes" isn't going to trick drivers into paying tolls.

You should leave a better changeset comment than just random letters.
