7 months ago | Unfortunately, that is not a good reason to use "toll=no", given that a toll must be paid earlier to access that way, and there is no other way to get to that slip road without paying a toll. The way we tag toll roads should be like the diagram in osm.wiki/Greece/Highways#Toll_tagging.
7 months ago | Hello, if a driver has to pay a toll to reach way/69586068, then that road has to be marked as toll=yes. The Americana map renders toll information: https://americanamap.org/#map=14.96/38.02124/23.42784 - please see: toll=*
7 months ago | The changeset was undone because the filter road does not exist (it's blocked off).
7 months ago | This changeset was undone because the classification did not reflect reality based on position of motorway signs at position 37.2590895,22.0049930
7 months ago | Wikipedia is not a reliable source for this project: those numbers were honestly made up. Please see: osm.wiki/Collaboration_with_Wikipedia
7 months ago | What is the source for the A122 road number? The number was not on the official motorway list of 2015: https://ia37rg02wpsa01.blob.core.windows.net/fek/15/2015/20151500253.pdf (not copyrighted - government legislative text)
8 months ago | Must have changed since then. Updated at changeset/165943023
8 months ago | Scratch this edit (superseded by 165516263), the landuse was playing silly games with me, which kinda says a lot about how easy (or not) it is to edit via iD. The documentation probably needs refining to show up on iD.
8 months ago | A thread regarding this edit has been opened at https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/ordering-of-names-in-cyprus/129262, as the name ordering change occurred in a geopolitically sensitive area. The reasons for the enquiry are in the linked thread.
8 months ago | Why are you deleting E-roads from the map?
8 months ago | ViewStreet, Sorry I have been having a bad day today, but the problem is that you are using service=* without realising that it will demote the importance of tracks that have the tag, as you did at changeset/163764884 and changeset/163847110. We do not use them on active passenger tracks.
8 months ago | You actually made the tracks worse than it is in reality. I had to revert it because it broke everything.
8 months ago | @sheldonelectric, You have changed the junction names to a format that I am confident that the Greek community has not agreed on. At this stage, I am concerned that you are editing disruptively and causing rife in our community. There is a reason you need to work together with the Greek editing community. You cannot insist that *every* one of your edit to the name or name format is the correct way to do it. Databases can have errors or name formats that go against consensus, and when it happens we need to adapt and correct as we can do with "IVI" bus stop in Marousi, North Athens. Continuing to edit combatively and against the consensus of the Greek community will not change anything.
8 months ago | The bus stop in question has the new telematics sign with a transliteration under the display: https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=155682059852880&lat=38.047122179108&lng=23.807580644422&z=17&focus=photo&x=0.9192711115323823&y=0.4626969546625346&zoom=2.9381096328510843
8 months ago | I think OASA telematics is wrong on that one, because neither the sign or ISO 843 transliterates "ΗΒΗ" to "HBH". ISO 843 transliterates to "IVI" while the sign on the ground says "IBI", which I think is a proofreading error.
8 months ago | Personal memory, based on what I know about transcription. I did not make them up, but tried to transcribe the name to the alphabet of other languages. I am very ill right now, but: 1. Just because it does not appear on the sign does not mean we cannot use foreign names and transcriptions. 2. You should not assume that every error is a fake name: If it is not obvious vandalism, then assume that they tried their best, and try to improve it. If you have concerns about the quality of translated names, you should probably discuss the issue with a community who speaks that language (e.g. France for French) and they may be able to help you.
9 months ago | I already corrected the translation error for you, even though the names "Alexander the Great" and "Alexandre le Grand" are common human knowledge in the respective linguistic communities. I remain available at your disposal.
9 months ago | Dang, I thought some of the errors in the list were in Australia rather that in the Ivory Coast … maybe my mind is genuinely malfunctioning.

9 months ago | I think it may make sense to delete and retrace the new road since the person who first added the way was the blocked Delta Evas ALL puppet. This can be done in a single changeset.
