Changeset When Comment

Note: this changeset introduced a fake section of dual carriageway at Tegeas, according to way/917540758/history. I will fix that.

You are requested to cease adding imaginary rallies, and to no longer split highways separated only by a hatched area. Please see: osm.wiki/Dual_carriageway .

The reason for this changeset is that based on way/601734050/history, Map-Finder decided to declare most of Attiki Odos as untolled, despite the fact that toll=yes applies to ways to and from the toll booth. In doing so, many drivers were unwillingly tricked into paying tolls to access a way that isn't tolled.

Dang, I didn't realise that the unused mapping guidelines had THAT many nodes.

Sorry about the size: I was working straight off https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/hdyc-osmi-issues?uid=4763179, which has no indication of location.

Hello, please consider how the creeks cross railways and roads, because your edits are causing Osmose errors that can be fixed easily.

Please see bridge=* for rail and road bridges, and tunnel=culvert for creeks.

Specifically, the bridge was claimed to be under construction by the same user associated with the fictional motorway proposals and therefore it could not be verified. If it is true that the bridge is closed, please redo the closure but add a source and estimated reopening date.

Can you DM me the URLs? Unfortunately, we can't mark the railway as under construction until a contractor is selected, and construction actually begins.

The thought of the old railway line to Megara being reused is quite unexpected. What is the source for these edits?

I have to enquire about this changeset because I positioned the point of merger in accordance with osm.wiki/Proposal:Placement. If you think there is a better way please let me know and I will see what I can do.

I don't think embankment=yes and layer=1 is generally allowed according to embankment=*#How_to_map. The wiki says that such combination should not be used without a good reason.

This changeset looks unusual from your most recent edits, because my Osmose dashboard is lighting up like a Christmas tree: what is the source for this autoroute?

The fatal bridge collapsed actually occurred over Diodorou, although that bridge was scheduled for demolition regardless. Source: https://www.ekathimerini.com/news/1216162/three-people-arrested-over-deadly-bridge-collapse-near-patras - the local road diversion is expected to last until Friday, and the motorway contraflow will last until around 1 June 2024.

I can assure you that this is not an import, but a testament to how fast I can edit with Potlatch 3: the development of Potlatch must continue.

137667141 over 2 years ago

See: https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/huge-import-by-josail/100460 - I don't think this import can stand if some of the items have Google as the source.

I have now marked the affected roads with "motor_vehicle=destination" to signify no access to motor vehicles except, for example, access to farms. It may take a while for the routers to pick up the restrictions.

137263504 over 2 years ago

I can accept that the changeset comment was a bit off because of me using Potlatch, but I did my best to keep the access restrictions for motor vehicles.

According to construction=*, I cannot mark a road as under construction if anything other than motor vehicles can still pass, and it is unclear if this is a short-term closure or not.

The wiki says that we should only tag construction sites if they are planned to be closed to all traffic for at least six to nine months.

Context: the Maxar Premium Imagery layer in Go Map!! is not working because it uses an expired API key. Updates to the app appear to be sparse.

Dang it! I thought I had saved the Greek changes in another changeset.
