Ciao Chinolandia

I wanted to say 'hello and welcome to OpenStreetMap, thanks for helping to improve the map data' and welcome you as a new user here.
But you've deleted a multitude of addresses, defibrillators, bike parkings, guideposts, hydrants and a guest house in this changeset.
Can you explain your reasoning?

Greetings from Bern,
habi

PS: I'm here because of https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-suspicious?country=182&hours=96&tsearch=&mappingdays=3&comp=%3E&value=10&action=d&obj=n&filterkey=#10/46.7337/8.1395

Ciao Daniel
Laut https://www.unic.com/en/about-us/locations/bern seids ihr an der Waldeggstrasse 42b, das Büro ist aber jetzt eher beim Eingang 42a lokalisiert.
Wo ist denn das Büro *im* Gebäude genau?

Ciao "SAPA bdc"

Welcome to OpenStreetMap, thanks for keeping the map data up to date!
I've took the liberty on expanding on your changeset here in Bern and updated and homogenized all three locations of SAPA in
changeset/137784665

The office in Lausanne was not present in OSM yet, the office in Zürich was added as duplicate.
Since the changeset spans nearly whole Switzrland it is a bit hard to 'see' what I did, but it's visualized here: https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=137784665

Greetings from Bern and happy mapping!

Ciao Isabel

Hey bednride

I guess this is not *named* as 'via ferrata', but should be *mapped* as highway=via_ferrata, no?

Ciao AdeBaumann
way/366108257 heisst ziemlich sicher nicht 'Former School'.
Ich würde das Gebäude als `building=school` erfassen und eine allfällige neue Nutzung mit building:use=* abdecken.
Wird das Gebäude jetzt als Wohnhaus genutzt?

The fox is *not* in their name, but in their logo.
As osm.org/search?query=🦊 shows, adding the emoji is completely pointless.
OpenStreetMap aims at reproducing the reality, putting arbitrary Biere, Beer and the Emoji into the `alt_name` key is not what this tag is meant for.

> No idea what is that "snc".

*You* have added this.
Are you saying that you are deliberately adding bogus data to OpenStreetMap?

137480917 over 2 years ago

BTW: I fixed it and added some more details in the vicinity in changeset/137505613

It's advisable to add the phone number of POIs in international format, to make the life of data consumers easier: phone=*#Usage

There are several Maproulette challenges to fix phone numbers *not* in international format: https://maproulette.org/browse/challenges?challengeSearch=&query=international%20format

Have a great day,

Ciao vmicho

It's great for pedestrian routing that you're adding sidewalks adjacent to the streets.
If you do this, it is advisable though to add a `separate`-sidewalk tag to the street, as specified on the OSM Wiki: sidewalk=*#Separately_mapped_sidewalks
Can you update the streets you've edited in your recent changesets with `sidewalk:both=separate`?

habi

Can you tell us what `operator:type=snc` means?
You’re the first one to introduce this to OSM: https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/tags/operator%3Atype=snc#overview

I would try to make it 'semantically' correct, e.g. add a path to the ping pong table, and add a service highway to the parking.
That there's no good way to pass between the ping pong table an the parking is - albeit based on the barrier - then mapped by the footway and service highway not being connected.

Sorry, I misinterpreted the lonesome node.
Reverted my merge with changeset/137413944

But the barrier needs to be connected to a path or way to make ‚semantic‘ sense: barrier=*
Such a way is missing here…

node/10979461217 was added as a duplicate of node/295941367/
I merged both barriers.

And also not connected to way/11787543/

137388388 over 2 years ago

way/1182332777/ was not connected to way/147046122/, I've updated this :)

Here you've added a duplicate path to way/583999765/
I'm removing your addition and aligned the already present path a bit.
