why not move the information you have removed into the name:en field instead, if those are correct as well?

is the name you have added in way/626753782/history really the signed name of the house (the description field details of the rooms suggest you live there), or just your personal reference to it?

because someone took the time to add existing data here, but that has yet to happen everywhere. particularly in canada due to lack of resources.

if the other private driveways are not mapped, they should be added, to match the level of detail that is standard in other parts of the world, rather than degrading the map to a rural canadian level of mediocrity and keeping it that way as other areas continue to advance and add detail.

at the left of this changeset bbox is a note marker pointing out the lack of mapped campsite roads that need mapping. that is what osm strives for, is continually adding missing information.

way/689171410 claims 2,7m height. the room i'm in is at most 2,3m with a 40cm thick roof at an angle.

yet the esri imagery for this shows such a value cannot be right, even if the shadows are misleading as this is where two aerial passes are stitched together.

i see a couple 2,4m houses one of which obviously does not have a flat roof, and another 2,7m house with shadow showing its roof cannot match such a max height and still have standing humans.

some numbers seem reasonable, 6m and a shadow to match, and as this looks rural, i suspect these are single-story so in some cases, 3 or 4 metres is plausible, but without a flat roof, not likely.

that is my quickie analysis of selected outlines against actual imagery, that the numbers are too often a bit unlikely, so i don't know if all of them add real value to osm as i expect to understand height.

is such a value even realistic? i see in the first page listing below, two such heights which if they really are 1,8m, i'd have to stoop so as not to take off what little remains of me grey hairs. the one i viewed is a small structure, but i suspect there are rather coarse increments as the numbers don't align well with the sort of numbers i expect from the housing i know, not comparing against imagery yet.

yeah, i know with potlatch1 i could restore its position, but this seems to be a design flaw of the editor, much like poor maps.me designs whose results i spend far too much time repairing while the problems continue to flood in. rant over.

is the name you have given to node/6262276886 really how it is signed? somehow from your comment in bug-report note/1673337 , which reads as a review unwelcome in osm that collects only objective informations, i think this is your subjective opinion and has no place in osm.

however if you can prove this name, i would not be surprised if it is a tongue-in-cheek reaction to a well-known trumpism.
