Looking at the history I'm not sure I added this tag but I have added others since and should have noted this. It's not a footpath as far as I am aware so I have remove this tag.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have been adding quite a few trees but it seems that for some reason JOSM hasn't shown up the lack of missing tags within its validation results or I haven't noticed this. If you know of anyway of highlighting these untagged nodes within JOSM this would be really appreciated. Otherwise it is going to take me quite a while to go back through all the areas I have been working on. Dudley

I would have walked through the farmyard via the footpaths most likely. I guess it will need a survey to confirm signage. If it is "closed" I would assume some sign as such. Unfortunately these crossing can change from a small stream to a major torrent in a short period of time. If the road is "closed" than then presumably more tags will need to be changed.

I have deleted the new node I put in and have copied across the tags of the existing node to a new area to define this site and deleted this node. I have also added a track and gate as per Bing imagery.

Apologies. I am using the ".ch" instance of the task manager listed on the wiki to carry out a methodical review of the peak district. It was the default setting and I assumed it was unique to the setup of this task manager. I have now deleted so hopefully it wont appear again.

Sorry no. I suspect I would have searched using google "openstreetmap wiki photography" and found this tag. Now I would look for the shop within JOSM which would have given me shop=photo. It may not have been available at the time or I may not have found it. Having looked at the wiki it would seem that photo would be find, so please change it. If I was asking someone in the street in the UK for this type of shop, I would ask for a "photography" shop but the word "photo" might be more universally understood so perhaps a better tag within openstreetmap.

Oh Dear. It looks like I must have had this selected when I was orthogonalising a building. I have also tried downloading a reverted changeset but it remains the same.

I must admit I wasn't looking for this feature as there aren't many valleys mapped in the Peak District. I cannot find a rendering of it so try and do a copy.

I assume I will just have to draw the way again along what I think is the valley bottom from bing imagery. It doesn't look to have many data points so I would assume it is a "sweeping brush" that has been used.

If you have any advice on what to do, this would be appreciated before I just redraw it as best I can.

There is actually a proposal at the moment for this tag. One of the options is horse=mounting_block but as you suggest it would seem horse is an access tag.

osm.wiki/Proposed_features/mounting_block

I have changed it to man_made=mounting_block but it might need changing again soon.

Hi Looking at the history this appears to have been created by others and I think I have just adjusted it when adding other features that share nodes with this.

For some reason the JOSM history suggests it hasn't every had a tag. Looking at it I'm fairly sure this is for residential landuse so I have now added this tag. I suspect I didn't add the tag because I intended to go back and adjust it. When landuse was first drawn people just draw around the whole of the town/village to get a quick representation on the map. There is now a tendancy to break it up and not include other landuse areas, roads etc.

Thanks for the information on searching/downloading. I've added tags to the ones that I can.

way/174197043. I tried to draw a wall along part of this so may have changed the positions of some points but ended up drawing another way. I don't actually know what this is supposed to represent. The same goes for 610891962. I'm wonder if these were an attempt to draw a large area of "heath" that seems to have been done in many national parks more recently. They seem to have orignated from the same user Dyserth who has drawn other areas of health in this area.

I've found a couple of these by just looking for them. Is their a method to searching for the way number directly. Within JOSM would be good?
