| A way to use Getmapping imagery | just a note about street post in google street view... did you actually tried to read one? I just did a few km in Portland and I couldn't read any at any zoom, so maybe if it's not copyrighted it can help for thing like postbox footpath kinda I mapped a bit of my city and did it with picture to help me remember the thing I wanna map, but I forgot which direction I was looking while taking some pict, that's something were street view might be interesting, but it's not good for street name. |

| RTC is a sellout | I would say that it's pretty sure they are not equiped with GPS since I've read sommthing a few month ago about de AMT adding GPS to their bus so they would know what is the real usage of their bus which wasnt possible beffore they make de OPUS system and they said that was the first time something like that was done in québec. but anyway you can still do it but I would suggest to ask for some electronic file that could be parsed and then be added by a bot in OSM for the STM it's sure they have one since it's needed for their azimut service. and by the way be patient for an answord... I'm still waiting for one about something else and it's been 2 or 3 month... might work better if you dont just write an email thought... |

| osmarender and under water tunnel | >Name rendering is on a strict way-by-way basis (hence why if you split a way
| Bus route | well you've got to look at the bus timetable and you will see all bus stop, it's not on a map but it's doing the same since bus stop are before the corner and you have the intersection |
| Complex intersections | "In my example - the gap is around 25m (~82ft). The width of the road that crosses the dual carriageway is around half that." you talk about 25m gap but Circeus talk about an half meter gap, it's so short that we almost doesn't see it on imagery (look at the last link from Circeus it's on the same street (or at least same pattern of street). |
| Complex intersections mark 2 | you can look at how the [osm.org/?lat=45.50779&lon=-73.56447&zoom=17&layers=B000FTF|place desjardin] is done and find the equivalent for prison |
| Bus route | the STM actually as a quiet good map on it's web site but it's probably under copyright (the quebec one is probably too) I still havent started mapping bus featur around hear but I agree that's will be a probleme I don't know how bus route work in osm thought |
| Complex intersections mark 2 | a think that amenity=prison was the right tag but you can look on the wiki tag page from angland or france I dont remember wich one is the more complete on that part, the canadien one is far from completed... and no you shouldn't put both building and point so up to you to descide what time you spent on that prison. |
| Interesting | yea it's good like that the only thing is that the cycling renderer will need to show that tag it doesn't seem to do it actually (or maybe it's not yet actualised but I think it should be by now. |
| Interesting | Realy, it's not just aren't signaled ?? and since it'sjust a small section in mtl-est with nothing on it they wont bother adding a street signe there... anyway I might see that some time soon. ps by the way i'm still thinking about the cycling lane on notre-dame... |
| Ways making each others inaccessible | well that's my error, I agree with your point but the way I saw it was that the park finish at the street so they have the same limit. if I trace a park approximately at the side of the road I'm most of the time to far away when we see it on renderer (yeah we don't trace for renderer I know and that wasn't what I was doing since I consider a way as the road itself and not just it's middle, but I might have wrong on that... |
