Hello,

Nice first edit but the shape of the house is probably not quite accurate.

For buildings you can find a better data source than aerial pictures. When you are editing the map you can hit the Background Settings button on the right and scroll down to "SPW(allonie) PICC numerical imagery".

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Thanks for the objects you added here.

I do not know much about Go Map!! but do you think you can program it to use another source of aerial imagery?

In the last days, I had to move several of your "amenities" because they were off by a few meters, sometimes being drawn in the middle of roads.

Preferably UrbIS aerial imagery, or AIV Flanders as a second choice, instead of Bing Aerial.

Thanks.

OK. Just one last thing: strictly one-way and no exception for cyclists, right?

Hello,

During the last survey, the eastmost part was a two-way street.
way/25467769

Has it changed recently? When did you survey it?

Hello,

Thanks for this.

I was intrigued to see two houses with number 120 next to each other. When we see this, it looks like a mistake.

But if I followed correctly, the situation is as such:

way/864622578
Nieuwstraat 120 in Drogenbos
(address not found in AIV Flanders GRB)

way/864622566
Kleine Dachelenbergstraat 120 in Beersel
(address matches AIV Flanders GRB)

That should be fine.

Thanks for this information.

Probably to be mapped as such: motor_vehicle:condition=no @ (Su 11:00-18:00)

Not to be confused with a "living street", which is the F12 sign in Belgium (woonerf).
highway=living_street

Hello,

Thanks for this. Isn’t there a contradiction between the name and the park_ride tag on this one?

name=P+R Gare de Liers
park_ride=no

Hello,

What kind of update did you apply to the bus routes? Have the routes or stops changed in this area?

Or did you just click a "fix" button somewhere?

122964358 over 3 years ago

I suspect you used the wrong button in Organic Maps. This is a user-friendly app but probably it needs a bit of effort to use properly, otherwise you will corrupt the public database.

Hello,

Your edit seems to have created a strange situation on the map:

name=Centrum of Kebab
name:de=Mevan Kebab Grill
name:en=Mevan Kebab Grill
name:fr=Mevan Kebab Grill

So, it is explicitedy "Mevan Kebab Grill" in German, English and French and stays unchanged as "Centrum of Kebab" for people using the app in any other language.

Was that intended?

Hello,
Does the studio occupy 100% of this large building? Maybe it would be better to create it as a single POI inside the building. Please have a second look and fix accordingly.

Hello, thanks for this import. (I know, it was two years ago.)

Is having "Station" in every name relevant? We don’t do this for other kind of objects, such as railway stations, bike-sharing or car-sharing stations.
What do you think?

Hello,

Thanks for the survey.

Just one thing here: highway=construction is normally for *future* streets. Tagging an existing street as highway=construction during temporary roadworks is not always a good idea.

And if you do that, please always set the "construction" key with the highway type.

e.g. highway=construction + construction=footway.

That way, when the works are complete, it is very easy to restore the proper highway type. StreetComplete users can do this in one click, that is very useful.

Hello,

One more thing here: the bounding box for this changeset is much larger than it should be because you created an empty node at a random location.
node/2391421407

Please delete it.

Hello,

We had to redo some of your latest edits.
In particular this kind of issue: bicycle boxes must be tagged as "sheds", not "lockers".

In the documentation, lockers are defined as such: "Parking takes the form of lockers which enclose bicycles fully and individually".

Bicycle boxes are of a different type, and accomodate several bicycles at once. This is why the standard we agreed on is that. The number of thoses boxes is growing really fast and it’s nice that you help us find new ones.

Hope this helps.

Happy mapping.

Hello,

I fixed the address. Next time, please make sure to write the street name exactly as written on the way, i.e.
"Boulevard du Triomphe - Triomflaan"
and not just in one language.

Happy mapping.

Hello,

Why did you add a node for Sciensano (node/9824301481) inside the existing area for that same institute (way/1057746986)?

Shall I delete it?

122420379 over 3 years ago

Good point. While you’re at it, it might be a good idea if you could draw the private road as well. Draw it as a normal street (or "track road") and set the overall access permission on it as "private", and that will be fine.

Otherwise, any other mapper who looks at aerial imagery without your local knowledge might draw it as a normal road and recreate the mistake.

Hello,

Thanks for adding more spots to the map.

That area seems invalid and will not show up properly on the map..
way/932543730
building=yes should be restored (this is still a building, right?)
area=yes should be removed
The name should be written in normal sentence case, not in small letters.
Couldn’t find anything with that name, anyway. But I found something named "Cirque Mystic" on number 12, which is of type amenity=events_venue (couldn’t find a website, apparently they have an FB page).
