| 116795048 | almost 4 years ago | Hello, highway=construction without construction tags is faulty. You should add construction=footway or construction=cycleway on the three ways you created here. |
| 116746654 | almost 4 years ago | Thanks, this helps us improving the map. đ |
| 116706079 | almost 4 years ago | I can understand that: sometimes the wiki provides contradictory advice because various pages were written by different groups of people and not kept in sync.
|
| 116706079 | almost 4 years ago | Hello, Warning: there is a problem with some tags you are creating these days. building=train_station is okay on the main station builing.
When you do this, you are merely creating a duplicate Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel-Zuid railway station in Brussels, and that creates a lot of nonsense on the map, because the station already exists. I will fix those I can find.

| 116627579 | almost 4 years ago | Hello, Maybe you should have a second look at some objects. The "name" field is only if something has a real name. It looks like this barrier should not have a name. Use the description field if there is something special about it. (But the existing tags are enough.)

| 115509138 | almost 4 years ago | Hello, Thanks for adding a building. Do not forget to fill associatedStreet relations when they exist. We use them a lot in Brussels, to group all the houses from the same street (no need to type the same postcode or municipality name on every house, for instance). Also, you might be interested to name your changesets in a more useful way for everyone, instead of "observations from field and urbis" all the time. Happy mapping. |
| 116532660 | almost 4 years ago | I fixed it. User wrote "réserve naturelle" in her changeset; it looks like she clicked on the wrong preset in iD. Correct tagging is leisure=nature_reserve. That should be fine now. |
| 116537248 | almost 4 years ago | This swimming pool is a *private* one, isnât it?

| 116486925 | almost 4 years ago | Hello, About this one:
I guess "IJzerplein" is the correct spelling, right? |

| 116146184 | almost 4 years ago | Hello there, I agree with @multimob: there have been discussions within the community against stop_area_group relations in the past and our understanding was that it wouldnât be really useful to maintain.
But I understand the reasons why you want them. I undeleted former stop_area_group relations and made sure all Brussels interchange stations have them. That should be fine now. Perhaps you might be interested to edit the wiki to clarify why those relations are useful. Have a nice day. |

| 116363848 | almost 4 years ago | Hello, Those invalid "building name" tags were created by a newbie earlier this week. I am currently trying to fix all the mess that user created, this is why you will see my name in some changesets in this area. I am still waiting for the answer from them before cleaning up all the silly tags they created. But thanks for spotting it indeed. ;-) |
| 116381501 | almost 4 years ago | Hello, I sent you another note about adding shops as single nodes instead of drawing buildings inside existing buildings, like here. This will help you make better edits in the future. I fixed this one. |
| 116381696 | almost 4 years ago | Hello, Thanks for this but I had to undo some of your changes. If 100% of the building is devoted to being a fast-food, then you add the tags to the building itself. It looks like the fast-food is only one part of the building, with a private door because some people like upstairs. In that case, simply add a node ("Point") somewhere inside the building and put the tags on that node to say there is a fast-food here and do not change anything to the house. You do not need to type the address because it is automatically calculated from the building around it. Have a nice day. |
| 81009564 | almost 4 years ago | Hello, I had never thought about adding bicycle=no on a station node but it makes sense. :-) FYI, the reason why boarding with a bicycle is not allowed in this station is in reality because they allow a really limited amount of time for boarding operations due to the number of trains per hour on the same tracks.
Congres and Chapelle/Kapellekerk stations have the same rule. |
| 116316505 | almost 4 years ago | Hello, You are editing a forest, but it is already on the map, like this: way/15570071 It is not necessary to create dozens of tree rows within a forest. We sometime add individual trees but only if it has added-value (e.g. inventory with location and species). Have a nice day. |
| 116314100 | almost 4 years ago | Hello, It seems you have uploaded several changes in the last hours, always using the same descriptition title: "CARTO". This is a map, everything we do here is "carto"-related. :-) Remember to always describe properly what you changed on the map.
Thanks in advance. |
