Hello,
I don't know if you have the possibility to survey how the speed changes along the A12, but I would not trust Mobigis too much. My own experience upon surveying all the streets that would get 50-kph roadsigns as from January showed there are lots of discrepancies between what Mobigis thinks and ground truth.

Hello,
The bus stop still exists, a few meters further. It’s a pity the user who created the note failed to mention that.

OK, thanks

Hello,
I see here you added a bench on the eastbound stop.
Do you know whether there is also a shelter?
Are both stops fully equipped now?

Hello,
Sorry but this is wrong.
The small building structure (it looks like a wall from the street) has no number.
Housenumber 51 already exists, this is the large building along the corner of the street.
Please do not create duplicate numbers, this causes validation issues in the database.

Hello,
Thanks for this.
Just one thing here: for the "Thai Super" shop, do not fill the address tags when adding a node inside a building. (I fixed it.)
The address will be automatically inherited from the building around the shop.
Duplicating information is not needed in OSM, on the contrary it is a bad practice.

Hello,

Thanks for this.

I had a look at your recent edits. Sometimes, you add points to the map, that contain no information.
Maybe you forgot to add the tags to say it is a camera) or maybe you didn’t see you were creating an empty point.
For instance here: node/8198919000

Could you please review this?
If there is no camera, just delete your node, do not leave it empty.
Thanks.

Hello,
We have reverted this changeset. This place was already on the map.
This is a frequent issue with MAPS.ME users. To avoid this, I suggest you update your dataset before adding new points.

In this changeset the user created a long footway along the path he/she had been walking. This footway was duplicating existing footways or streets, and it didn’t look like a valid contribution to the map. It was either duplicating existing information, adding wrong information (e.g. mistaking cycleway=asl for highway crossings) or just cluttering the map with incorrect connectors.
We regularly come across new users believing they can add some private stuff, not realizing they are actually editing a public database. This is what it looked like.
I left a private message to the user. I will be happy to provide help or guidance if necessary.

Hello,
I am puzzled about your change.
The former numbering follows official "cadastre" plans, as found on official UrbIS data for Brussels.
Shifting the numbers a bit to the north is okay but number 60 is totally gone. Are you sure?

Apologies for creating a large changeset here.
The work on node/2487864374 was supposed to be something else.

I fixed your vending machines.
Do not fill name text boxes for such objects. If you want to tell what the device is about, fill the description text instead.
But amenity=vending_machine + vending=parcel_pickup is normally self-explaining for apps using the data.

Hello,
If a shop closes, it is better to NOT delete the node.
Keep the node as it is and just remove everything that relates to the shop.
This is because we need the ability to search within the history of a node over time. If you delete them, that information gets lost. :-(
Hope it helps.

Nice work.
I think indoor=yes is more appropriate than tunnel_building_passage here.

Hello,
Why "fee=no" on highway=speed_diplay nodes?
Are you trying to map the fact that those displays are mere information and do not issue speeding tickets?
I am not sure adding this tag makes sense, because all speed diplays act the same. Otherwise, they are speed cameras.

Hello,
I do not understand this change.
Why move it to layer=0 now? This will cause validation errors with all the streets and buildings it crosses.
Was there an issue with the Humanitarian layer?

97311046 almost 5 years ago

Okay, nice app indeed.
There is no harm in fixing the tags on those paths, anyway.
