Thanks for the link. I didn’t know about it. It looks like they manually copied OSM data, sometimes very roughly because in many places, in particular in this street, it does not match data we have here. I guess the confusion is because there is a tiny protected lane near the intersection with Zavelenberg, which they might have assumed to be a "protected bikeway" stretching over the whole street. I’ll try to see if I can find how to report mistakes on their website, because as long as OSM is concerned, our data seems to be correct.
Thanks for raising the issue.

Hello and welcome to OSM.

I reviewed your first contribution.
Sure, there is no dedicated cycle lane but unless paintings were removed very recently I see cycle logos for cyclists using it contraflow.

Cycle logos or V-signs are coded as "shared_lane" in OSM. This tag is important for cycle routing apps because some navigation algorithms give a slightly higher value to this situation, over streets without any infrastructure at all. We use "cycleway=no" when there are absolutely no markings at all.

Do not worry, we took care to fix the tags here.

(My comment is based on Mapillary pictures taken in May 2023 here: https://www.mapillary.com/app/?pKey=808044510683164 and on UrbIS aerial imagery taken around June 2023; had the situation changed recently, please let me know if I am mistaken.)

Have a nice day.

Hello,

I came across your latest edits and I must warn you of a serious issue here.

You have massively erased the "building" tags on buildings. As a consequence, they are no longer identified as buildings. Look at the map in this street, it has a whole bunch of empty spots now, because they are no longer rendered. :-(

Also, it looks like you inadvertently erased good addresses by inadvertently adding shops with another address.

Take this example
way/366838623/history

Read the history page from the bottom. In version #1 the addresses for this building were 4, 4A and 4B, because this building apparently has 3 addresses.
You created version #2 and you changed the building into being solely housenumber 4… hence numbers 4A and 4B are now totally missing on the map.

If you want to add hairdressers or shops, please do not redraw buildings. Do not touch them at all. You can simply add a node somewhere inside an existing building, and add the name and opening hours of that place and that will be enough.

It will be appreciated if you would be so kind as to restore the buildings you erased, prior to making subsequenc changes to the map.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

"3 étages plus rez-de-chaussée" means 4 floors for OSM, not 3 → building:levels=4.

151277029 over 1 year ago

Hello,

I don’t know if I have already warned you about the problem we have with StreetComplete but… can you please either turn off this quest in your app or use the "There is no number" answer when presented with this question.

The reason is that all addresses in the Brussels-Capital Region are already on the map. But there are many buildings without a housenumber, e.g. service buildings, sheds, garages, school buildings, and more. StreetComplete’s approach is too simplistic and spawns a question for every building without an addr:housenumber tag. As a consequence, we waste a lot of time cleaning up duplicate value which are poisoning the database.

Thanks in advance.

It looks like a fix of changeset/132441263

Hello,
What source is used here as "street view", please? I cannot find it.

151260011 over 1 year ago

correction pour question 1) c’est « date d'enlèvement » des panneaux, car le 2 mai ils étaient encore là. ;-)

151260011 over 1 year ago

Bonjour,

Merci.

Hello,

No traffic signal has been reported in this area. Moreover, it looks like a small residential street, it would be highly unlikely that pedestrian crossings would have been equipped with lights.
Are you sure?

Sorry but we had to undo your edit.
Please never move buildings; also, they should never be traced on top of (distorted) aerial imagery, for that reason.
Have a nice day.

Hello,

Are you mapping a temporary route change or a permanent one?
I cannot help but notice that relation/5195534 has multiple gaps now and bus stops do not match the itinerary you drew. If the itinerary has changed, De Lijn does not seem to be informed and still traces the itinerary along Victor Van Sandelaan on the website.
Do I understand that you surveyed it yourself and confirm that the route has changed for good?

151186024 over 1 year ago

Hello,

If the crossing markings have been removed here, it is best to retag the crossing with tags like highway=crossing + crossing:markings=no instead of deleting everything.
This is because this node is part of a footway (way/587866536)
If a footway intersects a road and the node has no tag at all, it is seen as a mistake and StreetComplete will start asking people to fill missing data, creating an endless circle of edit wars.

Hello,

You edited 6 different places.
Next time, please upload changes separately instead of one giant changeset covering almost the whole country.

Good changeset descriptions are appreciated too, because "add equipment" does not really match actions like adding "fixme=a lot of change, need to work" to a square in Middelkerke, drawing stairs or adding an extra node to an existing cycle path.

Thanks in advance.

151171475 over 1 year ago

Hello,

Next time you change two places far apart from each other, it is better to upload them separately (i.e. change the first clinic, upload, and only then move the map to the other location to work on the other one).
This is because your edit generated a large bounding box covering about a third of the Netherlands and Belgium.

Hello and welcome to OSM.

Sadly, we had to undo your change.

Buildings in Brussels are always traced by following numerical imagery provided by the Brussels-Capital Region. Please do not redraw them by following distorted aerial imagery.

Hello,

Thanks for adding such parking spaces.
You may be interested to know that we have tagging standards in OSM, i.e. we try to use the same standards for the same objects to make it easier to build queries. I had to redo your latest edits but I see you keep adding ones with the wrong tags, so maybe you might want to have a look.
Have a nice day.

Bonjour,

150984254 over 1 year ago

No.

In OSM, payment:visa and payment:mastercard are credit cards.

payment:visa_debit and payment:mastercard_debit are debit cards. Those may stay.

I will fix the tags, based on the latest information you provided.

150984254 over 1 year ago

Hello,

I see that the following tags are still set on the object, which somehow contradicts the changeset destription.

payment:mastercard=yes
payment:visa=yes

Shall we remove those too?

(Yes, it looks like a previous mapper added a whole bunch of payment:* tags here, which can be a little painful to review and clean up. That might explain the confusion)
