Changeset When Comment

Hello,

I suggest retagging them as footways.

This is because routing software considers a "highway=path" to be an undetermined path open by default to pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders alike. Changing it into "highway=footway" clarifies the situation: only for pedestrians, period. And "access=no" makes sense, indeed, because this is not on public grounds.

Hello,

This building is already tagged as being housenumber 65: way/260452187
This is confirmed by official UrbIS data.

Your changeset creates a strange situation, with two building competing to be the one with number 65.

How is the current situation like, please?

Hello,
If a restaurant, shop or amenity no longer exists, we rather remove the relevant tags but keep the node within the database. Please do not delete nodes from the database. We restored it, and tagged it as a vacant place.

Hello,
The website for La Brace was already set as "contact:website".
Maybe that the app you use ignores the modern tagging scheme, that might explain why you felt you had to add the legacy "website" tag. Sadly, by doing this it creates an unnecessary duplicate value in the database.
Your edit has been reverted.

Hello,

Names in Brussels are usually bilingual, i.e. name = Comarché - Comarkt
I see no reason why the name tag should only be the French part.
What do you think?

This changeset removes existing data to existing POI, it must be reverted/fixed.

149953559 almost 2 years ago

Hello.
A bit of a warning here: You seem to be using the corrupted version of the OnWheels app. This app corrupts OSM data. You have been uploading 4 fake churches inside the existing one today. Please stop uploading data to OSM. If this is part of an organised mapping activity, please report this to the people supervising the mapping effort.

Hello,

Please do not redraw buildings by tracing on aerial imagery. Those pictures are different every year and *never* show the real location of buildings because of image distorsion.

Buildings should be traced on numerical imagery. For BE/Wallonie, use SPW(allonie) PICC imagery.

Can you please undo your changes.

Bonjour,

osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments

Bâtiments : way/1270870096

That’s what tags are for (leisure=swimming_pool is enough).
Nous avons corrigé.

Hello and welcome to OSM.

It is advised to *not* upload edits made on distant locations at the same time.

You want to edit buildings in England and in Australia? Fine, but please finish your edits for one country, and *then* upload them to the database. And only when this is done, start editing the other place.

One upload = one changeset = one bounding box in OSM. The size of that bounding box is determined by the min/max longitude and latitude of the objects in it.

The edit you uploaded right now spans over a huge territory, covering about half of the planet. This is unnecessarily annoying to mappers reviewing changes in their own country.

Have a nice day.

Some documentation here: osm.wiki/Changeset#Geographical_size_of_changesets

Hello,

This is another friendly reminder to ask you to please *not* upload edits made on distant locations at the same time.

You want to edit buildings in England and in Eswatini? Fine, but please make your edits for one country, and *then* upload them to the database. And only when this is done, start editing the other place.

One upload = one changeset = one bounding box in OSM. The size of that bounding box is determined by the min/max longitude and latitude of the objects in it.

The edit you uploaded today spans over a huge territory, covering about all of Europe and Africa. This is unnecessarily annoying to mappers reviewing changes in their own country.

Have a nice day.

Thanks for adding a shop. We removed the address (no need to repeat addresses on every object, they are already on the map), moved the node *inside* the building + some minor tagging fixes.
It should be visible now.

This changeset seems to contain many bad items. A revert is a possible option here, unless someone is willing to spend some time reviewing every POI one by one. :-(

For instance:

node/11793983475 is a duplicate of node/11591001550

node/11793983472 has no name tag but the user set a name as name:fr

node/11793983470 is a duplicate of node/1265785084

node/11793994670 is a park tagged as a node

node/11793983476 has name=A and then a French "translation" with a much longer name + invalid phone syntax

… and possibly more problems.

Hello,
Again, this restaurant is already on the map. Please stop uploading duplicate values into the database.
Reverted.

Oui, mais sur un node séparé svp.

Cooking oil in a container owned by Bruxelles-Propreté/Net Brussel, really?
node/6161160330/history

Maybe an Oliobox instead, no?

This restaurant is already on the map.
Reverted.

Hello,

I had already added the housenumber after the note you left yesterday, that this building has a door for #67 and none for #65.
node/2505791396

Adding the address on the door is more accurate than a generic address on a building outline. Please undo your edit, it caused an unwanted duplicate.

Hello,

This is the Brussels-Capital Region here and the NL name is Willeriekendreef. Welriekendedreef is only for part in Flanders. This is confirmed by UrbisAdm and by street signs on Mapillary. Your change has been reverted.
