Hello. The bakery has been on the map for many years, you created a duplicate.

Hello,
Apps should retrieve ordinary objects based on their tags, e.g. give me all the recycling containers in that area that accept glass bottles.
Having those 3 is enough (adding the operator is useful too).
* amenity=recycling
* recycling_type=container
* recycling:glass_bottles=yes
Filling the description is up to you but I don’t think it is necessary, because it would be tautological. The description tag is useful to explain something that could not be guessed from the tags alone.
Happy mapping! :-)

Hello,
I think this is incorrect and bad tagging practice.
Moreover, if someone were to search for "bulle à verre" (singular) one would not find it.

I’ve just tested in iD and creating a new line and setting "cycle path" only generates one tag: highway=cycleway, no more.
Don’t worry, I’ll try to fix the bad tags. And thanks for the Mapillary pictures, it helps a lot to see what the new situation looks like.

Hello,
Waow, there have been many changes here, thanks for updating the map. Just a couple of things.

What do you mean by "actualise"? Many of your changesets use the same title, it makes it hard to guess what’s the story here. A new cycle track, right?

bicycle=no on the road → bicycle=use_sidepath
This is because a cyclist may use the road to change direction, for instance. But bicycle=no would be correct if there is a C11 sign.

bicycle=designated makes no sense on a cycleway, it should be removed altogether.

node/7809966413
Crossing between the cycle track and a footway. There should be highway=crossing here.

Good fix, thanks.

Hello,
I visited that area some time ago.
I don’t remember seeing cycle tracks along Avenue des Hospices/Godshuizenlaan (way/71811311 and way/71811313). Apparently only on one side of the road (eastbound cycle traffic).
Has this street been rearranged recently?
Cycle tracks for cyclists in both direction, really?

I do apologize for the mess-up.
I surveyed it again this week and it turns out Brussels-City only renamed a tiny part of the street into Willy De Bruyn and not the whole part.
UrbIS is still wrong because it does not have the new street name but in fact the street is still Allée Verte for the part with houses and the restaurant you spotted. It should be all right now.
That city is really complicated! :-(

Hello,
I understand this was your first edit on OSM.
Please be aware that if you type a name on objects, it will be uploaded to the database. As the saying goes, with great power comes great responsibility. :-)
Please do not make up names for objects. "park" for the name of a viewpoint or "dom" for the name of a grass area look like you invented them. We had to revert this.

Hello,
I had to revert this. There has never been a convenience shop named "DVD" here.

Hello,
I have already reported this on other changesets but we really have a problem with your contributions.
1) You uploaded a huge changeset at once, covering about 1/4 of the whole Brussels Region. Some people might wonder whether you really surveyed such a big territory in one shot.
2) Every time you added a speed, you told your app to make it look like if there was a roadsign on the street (in Belgium a C43 sign, it looks like a red circle with a number). On the contrary, most speeds in Brussels are either large 30-kph zones or, when it’s 50 kph, it is because it is the default speed, not because of a sign. As a consequence, we can no longer reliably know what streets really have signs, when you keep adding non-existing signs to the database. StreetComplete is a nice and user-friendly app but please read a little about how to use it properly.
3) Many speeds you typed are wrong. There are many large 30-kph zones in Brussels and you must really know what you are doing if you want to add maxspeeds. No data is better than wrong data. Other mappers and myself have been spending countless hours debugging the mess with wrong speeds you added. There is an option in StreetComplete to turn some quests off, I will strongly suggest you do that.
Best regards.

Someone "fixed" this and set junction=roundabout again.
I reverted it and added a note tag explaining the issue.

Hello,

What are those "artworks", please?
Just an artwork and a cryptic name, it looks like the reference in a database or something.
You created one in Brussels and named it BLX-11. There is no artwork here.

What is this changeset about?

88492938 over 5 years ago

Hello,
Why do you want to add bicycle=yes on an ordinary zebra crossing like this one?
way/590271529
It does not connect any cycle infrastructure.

84488519 over 5 years ago

Hello,
Please do not draw buildings while using aerial imagery. The one you selected is not orthophoto if you try to draw according to that, you will add a lot of nonsense on the map.
You can help by spotting missing buildings, but in that case, just leave a note and do not try to fix it yourself until you gain enough experience and learn how to do it properly.
Have a nice day.

@zors1843, there has never been a shop here, this is an ordinary residential house.
Carrefour Express is located in Woluwe in a street with a similar name. I cleaned up the shop-related tags. See changeset here: changeset/89096928

Hello,
Thanks for your contribution.
OSM is a map shared by hundreds of contributors. Can I advise you to write a better changeset description when you change something on the map.
"Changement" does not say anything about why you repeatedly moved this node inside the building it belongs to (also in changeset/85502741). Are we talking about a door that should be placed elsewhere? Is that merely for æsthetics of the map?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
A question about the changeset comment: is "Bruxelles, Bruxelles-Capitale, 1000, Belgique" an auto-generated string?
This is because your changeset is within the Brussels Region but completely away from the part we refer as "1000" which is the city centre only. This is confusing when reviewing other people’s changeset.
Hope this helps.

Hello,

I fixed the name, it should be written like this:
"Jardin Robert Leclercq - Robert Leclercq Tuin"

Hello,
Just one thing. When you draw sidewalks, it looks like you are stretching the "footway=crossing" part to make it start and end around where the sidewalk has been drawn.
Example here: way/546599610 (on the western end you moved the point).
Despite being aesthetically appealing, the drawback of this approach is that it makes the crossing look much larger than it really is. This misleads the blind and visually impaired people about where is the protected part and where does the crossing really starts. Also, we lose the information about the actual length of the crossing itself.
I suggest the part between the sidewalk and the edge should also be tagged with "footway=sidewalk".
Thanks.
