Hello,
Thanks for this.
About the operator tag, is there a reason to use French-only names for devices in Brussels? Official entities, such as municipalities or regional entities should be bilingual.

Example: node/7295757739, operator="Commune de Berchem Sainte Agathe" → rather "Commune de Berchem Sainte Agathe - Gemeente Sint-Agatha-Berchem"

Good!
I fixed the issue with the relations, the lower half of the street has a different postcode indeed.

Hello,
Thanks for this. It’s interesting to see that even bus stops have their own wikidata entry.
There are 6 other bus stops named De Brouckère in this area. I will add the wikidata tag to them as well.

Hello,
Thanks for adding name:etymology tags.
However, this edit seems to cause some trouble.
For instance, Avenue de Cortenbergh/Kortenberglaan:
existing way/14364220 was edited and got the right tag… but the edit created way/778372113 with entirely new nodes, parallel to it and without the name:etymology tag.
Besides, some houses got duplicated too: compare way/230274103 and way/778372125
In my opinion, any new objects created by this changeset are suspicious. Could you please check?

Hello,
Nice work to add those to OSM.
It looks like an import of an existing database. In that case, did you ensure to obtain legal rights to upload it? OSM could get in trouble if this is not the case.
There is a large repo here, I suppose you know it (https://stolpersteine-guide.de) but their terms of use are nowhere to be found (no licence = not free).
Another database where all of this may have been taken from (http://www.stolpersteine.eu) explicitely forbids any reproduction of its content without prior consent of the owner.
Kind regards.

Hello,
If those are two different parks, each with its own name, shouldn’t we rather split the area into two contiguous areas? I can do this but is there a reliable source to determine the "border"? It apparently does not match the border between municipalities, it is probably somewhere around Av. J. Dubrucklaan.

Hello,
I surveyed it again today. Indeed, the situation is more complicated and we are both right because the one-way regime changes in the middle of the street.
I solved it by splitting it into two separate ways. Now this is correct. Thanks for spotting this.

Hello again,
After writing my previous comment, I thought again and compared with my notes from a recent survey.
I made a new survey tonight. In fact, this is not a one-way street at all.
You may have been confused by the B21 road sign (the one with one white arrow and one red arrow). Under Belgian traffic laws, this signs means that traffic in one direction gets priority over oncoming traffic, but motor vehicles are allowed in both directions in this street.
I reverted your latest change to get back to a proper situation.

Hello,
Thanks for this but please do not forget to look for additional signs when you survey streets.
This is a oneway street (oneway=yes), but it has an exception for bicycles (oneway:bicycle=no).
Otherwise we get incorrect results in cycle routing.
I fixed it today.
Thanks for contributing, have a nice day.

Hello,
I am afraid I had to revert your change. There are traffic signals for pedestrians, therefore it cannot be set an crossing=uncontrolled.
Have a nice day.

BTW, congrats for all the work you are doing with those notes!

Hello,
If we set the name of a shop both on its node and on the entrance node, there is a high risk that when a shop changes, somebody will edit the map and forget to change one of them. Perhaps we’d better just set entrance=yes and no names.

Hello,
StreetComplete is a great app, but I should advise to turn off the quest about missing street names.
Naming streets within Brussels it complicated because it is a bilingual city and we must fill several tags to do it properly. StreetComplete autoedits tend to damage the database, please do not use it for Brussels streets.
Have a nice day.

The change is fairly recent, maybe those who made their website hadn’t been told to update the address, or they blindly rely on G* Maps and haven’t noticed yet. :-D

Incidently, this street name is an interesting case for the current effort to classify street names based on gender, because this name is about a transgender male.

Hello,
I get errors in foot routing since that change (Graphhopper and other engines cannot use it).
Is it allowed to walk here or is the street completely barred, also for pedestrians?

Hello,
I hope you will not mind but I must revert your changeset.
Part of Allée Verte was officially renamed in honour of Willy De Bruyn last July. It was covered in local newspapers and I surveyed it: street signs were properly updated. It’s sad that UrbIS still shows outdated names.

Hello,
Thanks for replying.
I surveyed the place again. Indeed, the "supermarket" is located on the ground floor, and it has its own name and its own address (48C). I fixed it. This should be okay now.

80096221 almost 6 years ago

Hello,
Wolf is already mapped as an area.
Why did you assign duplicate addr:* tags on the "supermarket" node? There are two items with housenumber 50 in the street now, this causes validation issues.
I did not find the supermarket when surveying this, where is it?

Hello,
I am reverting this changeset.
Part of the EU district has postcode 1040 despite it is part of Brussels-City.
This is because bpost’s subdivision is based on practical terms and does not match municipalities entirely. Sadly, there is no 1:1 correlation between addr:postcode and addr:city.
Have a nice day.
