| 148020091 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, Can you please make sure to upload changes as separate changesets, one for each townhall you want to fix? Please no large changesets like this. MapRoulette is fun but you edited 5 different places in France and your edit unnecessarily covers all of Luxembourg, 2/3 of Belgium and a several large cities in Germany. Thanks in advance. Have a nice day. |
| 147994991 | almost 2 years ago | @Olyon: To say it otherwise: please upload changes about overseas French territories separately from the mainland. (Not to mention that it is also a good idea to split changesets about "France métropolitaine" into smaller parts, to avoid covering large parts of Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. Your neighbours would be grateful to you for this.) |
| 148012548 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, I get your point but how would you ensure that your edit does not violate language validation rules in this territory? You have been changing names of NATO facilities in several places: was this discussed beforehand? |
| 147904197 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, Bad luck: housenumber 49 is next door and was already on the map. In such a case, it’s better to answer "there is no housenumber" than providing a value, this will avoid data corruption on the map. We fixed this one. Happy mapping. |
| 147898806 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, Thanks for adding devices. We will take care of cleaning the bad tags in your edits. (For instance, "mapillary" refers to a unique code for a picture of the device… which you re-used for all 6 devices, or the "operator" tag not matching OSM naming conventions). |
| 147883688 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, I am afraid there is a little bit of an issue here: node/7937159295
node/4908024068
I think those are mistakes.
Can you please confirm the situation for those two places. This is necessary to make sure the database does not contain incorrect values. Thanks in advance. |
| 147861972 | almost 2 years ago | Most of the objects are in Belgium + a few in Saudi Arabia + tags on traffic signals in Milwaukee (USA). It would have been better to upload this as 3 separate changesets, which is easy to do in JOSM. It is surprising that some many pitches have been loosely drawn as trapezes; I presume most of them are expected to be rectangles. It might be wiser to aim for quality instead of wanting to complete maproulette tasks as fast as possible and expect that other mappers will take care to clean up and redraw everything.
Have a nice day. |
| 147800017 | almost 2 years ago | Thanks for this. The original situation was largely outdated, now we should have a much more accurate situation.
|
| 147643810 | almost 2 years ago | OK, merci, c'est corrigé. |
| 147800017 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, Warning: housenumber 83 was already on the map. Adding a duplicate value with the same housenumber breaks the address system. I examined the situation in this street, it turns out, the outline of buildings was outdated in this area. If you spot such a problem in the future, feel free to report it, we’ll be happy to assist. (But don’t fill values; StreetComplete is a simplistic app and it will be happy if you fill any random value, but at the expense of data corruption.) Have a nice day. (Oh, by the way, welcome to OSM, I see this is your first day here, it seems.) |
| 147643810 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, Do you still remember the operator of that container? This is because the object was created as a container by Bruxelles-Propreté - Net Brussel but they do not operates containers for clothes. I suspect it must be Terre or Petits Riens, right? |
| 147772540 | almost 2 years ago | Hello,
|
| 147724524 | almost 2 years ago | Thanks for your reply. We may not use copyrighted sources on OSM, and it looks like the material on their website has such copyright restrictions. Did you sollicitate and aquire permission to reproduce their map for OSM? |
| 147724524 | almost 2 years ago | Hello and welcome to OSM. You might understand that when a new account drops dozens of new objects onto the map, it raises some legitimate suspicion. Would you please be so kind to briefly explain what is the source of all the footpaths you have been adding in this airport? I see that you did similar edits for other airports in the US.
Is this kind of indoor mapping part of an organized activity? I am asking because there are some caveats here, e.g. unconnected footways, which we’d like to solve or remove, but I am asking if you are developing an app or something that specifically requires those. You seem to be mastering some tags in the OSM data model fairly well, I suspect you are not a beginning mapper. Is this the secondary account of someone? Thanks in advance. Have a nice day. |
| 147708345 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, Can I please suggest you ignore or turn off this quest in StreetComplete. All addresses in the Brussels-Capital Region are already on the map. SC is a very simple app and has some strange behaviours, such as asking for a possible "missing housenumber" for any building without an address. This building is just a simple shed. It has no address. And it should not be mapped as if the building *is* housenumber 262… because that address is already on the map, and duplicate values are a real pain to clean up afterwards. We hope one day this problem will be fixed upstream. In the meantime, I encourage you not to ignore StreetComplete questions about this. Most other questions from StreetComplete are harmless. Have a nice day. |
| 147695501 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, Should this be true, your edit has zero effect on bicycle routing, since highway=trunk disallows cycling. Did you check cycle access in this area? |
| 147587442 | almost 2 years ago | This tag is not recommended, it just clutters the map for little added value. |
| 147587442 | almost 2 years ago | Thanks for this. We had to fix a few things here to avoid having the same address repeated multiple times (we don’t do this). I added them as doors of this building. |
| 147598483 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, Thanks for this.
|
| 147596676 | almost 2 years ago | Hello, Good job for the tree, thanks for this. But while you were adding the tree, you seemed to inadvertently move a valid address point 18 meters away. As a consequence, one of the houses was no longer displaying the correct address. I just wanted to ask you to really exercice caution when you are editing. No harm here, I could easily repair this, but sometimes small mistakes like this get unnoticed and can really poison the map and cause problems for people. Happy mapping. |
