| OSM and Gender - Invitation to Online Discussion | Please stop insulting us with your Gender-Religion. OSM definitelly doesn’t need it! „Opportunities and challenges to be more inclusive“: With OSM everyone already has the same opportunity. Just start mapping! „Program ideas to support diversity in OSM“: Everyone in OSM already maps whatever he (all genders included) wants and likes to. No need to develop any “programs”. |

| Does anyone even check what HOTOSM contributors leave behind? | “ways with a node for every half a metre length” There is nothing wrong with it, the more detail in OSM the better! |
| Iraq village cleanup | Nakaner: You cannot reliably transscript names in many languages - e.g. in Arabic where the wovels are (usually) missing in the writing. |
| What shall we have for diner tonight? | Hi! “fast_food” stand for a “fast-food-restaurant” and is therefore obviously a type of an amenity. It’s just abbreviated. |
| Connectivity of a routing graph | Please, note that your road categories are USA specific and may not have the same meaning/importance in other parts of the world. Thanks! |
| Idea of issue tracker for tagging scheme | I think that it’s a very good idea to use issue-tracking for this purpose. And I don’t think that it is necessarily a bad think if a discussion will be tracked in such a system AND parallel to it discussed in the mailing list - as you can post a link to a mail-list archive to an issue-tracker (“for the record”) and vice versa. |

| Units in OpenStreetMap | It’s disturbing that in 2015 anyone uses anything other than SI… :-( |
| Postigs question - find out the unnecessary points that exist on the map | Hi! I’m not sure this is such a good idea. I leave sometimes such points as a preparation for future mapping. Maybe you can add a condition that the point to be deleted is older than (at least) two weeks? |

| 3 | „Džibutsko“ zní dost hrozně. |

| About problems with [surface=unpaved; access=destination] roads |
In many places it is just not clear what should be mapped as landuse=residential because it is not obvious on the ground. Therefore I don’t see much sense in displaying it - at least at such zoomlevels. On the other hand the residential streets clearly exist on the ground an therefore should be rendered even at z12! |
| About problems with [surface=unpaved; access=destination] roads | Hi! I would definitely render higway=residential @ z12. On the other hand one could consider not rendering area=residential at this zoom-level at all. It is anyway rather problematic in many cases how it is mapped. |

| New road style for the Default map style - the first version | Sorry to say but your colours seem really horrible. The original is much much better. |
| Natural Atlas + OpenStreetMap | What a pity you don’t offer a possibility to edit the data in JOSM! BTW, will you cover Europe soon as well? |
| 3D Modelle von Gebäuden erstellen | Ich staune darüber, ob die noexit tags wirklich notwendig sind. Ich finde es ein wenig dumm etwas zu taggen, was es nicht gibt, bzw. was sich von selbst erschließt. |
| Proposed talk at both SOTUM and HOTOSM conferences!! | Wouldn’t landuse=minefield be a more consistent way than hazard=minefield? |
| My Shopping Diary | spam, spam, spam, spam, bacon and spam… :-) |
| "Autobahn"-Abfahrten ohne name oder ref | Haben eigentlich auch kleinere Ausfahrten (wie Raststätten oder sogar kleine Parkplätze) refs und Namen? |
| Openstreetmap? More like Openwoodmap on low zoom levels | Well, actually, I like Openstreetmaps. If you look at some comercial maps, the roads look unrealistic thick - in reality they would be a couple of hunderts meter thick. So I think that openstreetmap is much superior to those unrealistic maps. |
| Format der Hausnummern mit Zusatz (z.B. Musterstraße 1b) | Schlimm, schlimm, schlimm, dass DIN gegen die typographischen Gewohnheiten verstößt. |
| osm live tracker | Nice! A pitty that you cannot zoom to a particular area, though… |
