| 162268157 | about 1 month ago | Do you also have a reference that this is used as the marching band practice area?

about 1 month ago | Hello, I'm in metro Denver and saw this interesting area. All the aerial imagery I've seen so far shows this as asphalt (you can see the cracks). That would not prevent it from being used. Do you know if the asphalt has been removed?
about 1 month ago | To clarify, read the note tag on the station, not a separate OSM note.
about 1 month ago | Oops, that was the residential area boundary
about 2 months ago | I just saw this restaurant while driving by tonight near closing, but took a photo to map it because it's new in like the last month. You already mapped it and did it nicely with all the right tags and syntax. Yay! Gonna check it out, cuz Thai food is great & we don't have a good place in this area.
about 2 months ago | That category is probably going to go away, no matter how many times people try to add an image to it, because we're fighting the US copyright laws and their enforcers.
2 months ago | Oops, I meant updated the name to Sunrise Road, not what it was before (Sunset Drive).
3 months ago | Typo in changeset comments: correct close date was 2023-10-23 (not 2022-10-22).
3 months ago | Accidentally allowed iD to auto-complete the changeset comments, which should have been just, "Added 1 disabled stall". Info was from street-level photos, not aerial imagery.
3 months ago | Thank you! I don't know how that "ad1dr:street" got in there. It's never happened before. :)
4 months ago | 27.7 ft off
4 months ago | At least for the Supercharger in Post, TX, ZeLonewolf's changeset only removed a tag. Coordinates weren't touched, but I just restored them to their correct original values before they were overwritten by the 2025-06-22 bulk import from SCinfo (which had coords that were 27.7 off, not huge, but visible).
5 months ago | Hi, Allison P, did you see the responses? They were thoughtful and give me confidence that I picked the lesser of two evils. What do you think? Do you know people at Ridley's? If so, maybe you can advise them on how to improve their site.
5 months ago | I just submitted this question to the OSM Community Forum: https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/is-it-ok-to-include-a-website-tag-for-a-point-of-interest-if-the-website-has-any-advertising-on-it/133791
5 months ago | Oops! typo: a question
5 months ago | If OSM prohibited any POI website that contained anything that could be considered ad, a good percentage of websites would have to be deleted. Is that what we want? Sounds like a questions for the OSM Data Working Group.
5 months ago | https://shopridleys.com/locations.php gives the address, phone, and hours for all locations, so that's best we can do now. OSM is a community project, so you can edit out the website if you feel super strong about it. However, that will leave no website at all, except in the changeset source, which is where I found the address, phone, and hrs.
5 months ago | I saw that page, but there is no address, phone number, or hours, just ads, so that would become advertising spam that's prohibited on OSM.
| 169700973 | 5 months ago | Accidentally didn't get get this in the changeset comments:

| 168705683 | 5 months ago | Hi! Appreciate your mapping because we need all the help we can get, but I have a request. Would you add more specific changeset comments than "add parking and update alignments"? Many times it has nothing to do with parking, so a generic changeset comment is not useful. Might as well leave no comment than a confusing one. JOSM can show exactly what your changes were, but it would save everyone's time if they didn't have to fire up JOSM. Here's how to help us: do more frequent saves, like when you edit one object or a few nearby objects, and give specific comments for those edits. iD and JOSM will save your comments so you can reuse them from a drop-down menu (and edit as needed). That's pretty cool.
