Hello,
How much of relation/15746157/history is actually trees? Very few seem to have been planted.
Best Regards,
Andy

Hello,
Just wondered if you knew what route the Ridgeway Trail took across relation/3459390#map=18/51.55850/-1.38390 - there look to be about 3 possible routes!
Best Regards,
Andy

Does node/11833519496 definitely exist? I've just walked past and didn't see it :)

Plenty of peaks in plenty of countries don't have any sort of name at all. Sometimes there's an "official" naming process and sometimes there isn't, but sometimes there is no name at all.

Hello,
I think that you've broken the Ynos Mon national park in this edit:

9d8
< -10676742 | Tirwedd Cenedlaethol Ynys Môn
83c82
< (80 rows)
---
> (79 rows)

If you check the relation in Josm's relation editor you can see there is a gap.
Best Regards,
Andy

Hello again Map-Finder,
You've said "The jurk deleted again the circles, maybe there should be another way to make him understand".
To be clear - you are the "jerk" here.
It is not OK to add fake data to OSM. It is also not OK to add ways named as you have in osm.org/user_blocks/15986 . That is abuse, and I have blocked your account for a day as a result: osm.org/user_blocks/15986 . In the light of what has gone before a one-day block is quite lenient.
When your block expires, please ask for help on the forum about the issues that you have problems with, such as running JOSM on an antique PC, or using alignment data (in whatever editor) from outside of OSM.

150217117 over 1 year ago

Hello Map-Finder,
Andy from the DWG here. Actually, there are plenty of ways that you can have "alignment" data and never save it to OSM. With JOSM, just add what you need to another layer and don't save that layer. Even with iD you could create alignment data as a GPX file locally and drag it onto iD when open.
There are people (including me!) that actually create maps showing pipelines; we don't want small circles showing up at every bend in the road.
If you'd like help with how to map _without_ saving alignment data with fake tags to OSM, please ask at the forum https://community.openstreetmap.org/c/help-and-support/7/none .
Also, reacting in the way you did above really isn't OK. Please don't do that.
Incidentally, you can still get to your alignment data even though it's been deleted from OSM via Overpass. See e.g. https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1KkV .

If you find yourself making changes over and above what you originally put in the changeset comment, you can always add a discussion comment afterwards - I end up having to do that all the time (like on changeset/149985523 ).

Здравей, mountainguide55 и добре дошъл в OpenStreetMap!
Какъв е източникът на промяната на етикета с име
node/7897681837/history? Името, което сте използвали, изглежда подобно на това, което предишните сътрудници са смятали за неправилно.
С Най-Добри Пожелания,
Анди

Hello mountainguide55, and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
What is the source of the name tag change on
node/7897681837/history ? The name you've used looks similar one that previous contributors thought wasn't correct.
Best Regards,
Andy

Just checking - was it deliberate to delete Cornwall Mineral Tramways here (https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1Kks ) ?

Hello,
Andy from OSM's Data Working Group here. I can see a pile of discussions at https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=2856851 , and I gather there are a bunch of comments on notes as well.
In order that discussions and pictures are more widely visible, it's probably worth moving the discussion out of changeset comments. Historically the GB community has used the talk-gb mailing list, but the forum c.osm.org might make more sense here as you can drag and drop pictures easily. Use a united-kingdom tag along with any others.
I'm not familiar with the infrastructure here, but as a UK cyclist I'm absolutely familiar with poor cycle signage, and as a UK pedestrian I'm also familiar with the problems caused by cyclists using infrastructure they shouldn't.
Let's get all the discussion (and the photos) somewhere more public so that more people than those currently commenting can get involved.
Best Regards,
Andy

Hello lekman100, and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
Andy from OSM's Data Working Group here. Someone from the Ukrainian community has been in touch about these edits - mostly that's not because of your edits, but because of various "mechanical language changes" that have happened in the past.
What might be a good thing to do would be to say something over at the Ukrainian forum https://community.openstreetmap.org/c/communities/ua/66 explaining a bit about what you're doing. You can write in English there - there's a translate button that allows things to be seen in other languages.
Best Regards,
Andy

Witaj dulky i witaj w OpenStreetMap!
Z wyrazami szacunku,
Andy

Hello dulky, and welcome to OpenStreetMap!
Someone asked you to use more descriptive changeset names, and you've used more words, but "changes and more specific information" doesn't really explain much more!
If you read osm.wiki/Pl:Dobre_komentarze_zestawu_zmian you'll see the sorts of things that make good changeset comments.
Best Regards,
Andy

Yes - if the notice board has gone, I'd just delete it!

In the example I quoted, we don't know whether there is "literally nothing there anymore". The imagery available to OSM suggests that actually there IS something still there; which just don't know what.
