I suspect that it might just be test data that they're playing about with - it doesn't really belong in OSM.

Thanks for adding the note - I think that that's the best thing to do here (unless you want to contact the original mapper; it was only added 8 days ago).

Erm - are you sure there's really a "university of cool" relation/4651566/history in Utrecht?

29414254 almost 11 years ago

Hi - I think something has gone a bit wrong with way/89745616/history . Previously, it was residential, but only between node/1039946864 and node/1039946948 . way/144732774/history was a living_street between node/1039946948 and node/1582554957 .

Hi, you've changed way/115219723/history from shrubs to scrub. Was that deliberate? It looks like a nice shrubbery in a park to me - not scrubland at all.

Are you sure that "highway=service" is the best tag for way/331550854 rather than "highway=track"?

29383334 almost 11 years ago

The change to node/2690776985 seems to be changing tree tags and nothing to do with "highway" at all?

29372329 almost 11 years ago

Something seems to have got very confused here. Taking one node as an example node/3391338589/history , it's been on something of a world tour: Thailand, Romania, The Netherlands and Northern France. If you want to test stuff out, may I suggest that you use the dev server http://api06.dev.openstreetmap.org instead?

Geographically, this is a very large changeset. How do I, as a local mapper, know what's changed near me?

Would it be possible to use smaller changesets in future describing what's been changed, why, and what the source was?

Hi, was the merge of all of the ways in way/33181751 together deliberate? Previously there were separate ways including way/33181756/history , way/33181758/history and way/33181757/history , some of which were bridges and some of which weren't. It's been a while since I was there, but my recollection is that there were two distinct bridges here (and they didn't form part of a perfect circle).

Has the park at Burniston Road way/255566101/history really disappeared? It's still there on the imagery. What's it been replaced with?

29289774 almost 11 years ago

It doesn't matter whether there's a documented key (yet) or not - information is still useful to a human looking at the object and shouldn't have been deleted. You could argue that the tag should have been different, and perhaps it might have made sense to clarify with the original mapper what they meant, but there's no reason just to delete the information (about holy day opening).

Are you sure that way/332133759#map=19/52.19772/0.14485&layers=N is really an addition Tesco Express to the one that exists a couple of doors down at node/307456147 ?

It's rare that I venture this far down Mill Road but I don't remember two Tescos this close together. Also the new YHA way/332133497 seems to be a duplicate of node/25285261 . I'm sure that there's only one there.

29289774 almost 11 years ago

Thanks, but how to capture the information that on holydays the opening hours are different?

Спасибо за информацию о "Cat Forest":

What was actually the change here? the changeset comment says "fix: highway" but what was fixed?

29289774 almost 11 years ago

You seem to have deleted "opening_hours:holydays" from node/3314274507/history , was that deliberate?

29241992 almost 11 years ago

I think that something may have gone wrong here - you've deleted node/3032457972 (address 1800) and added node/3382669400 (address 1810), but there's another address 1810 just to the north. Are you sure that you have got the right building?

29280737 almost 11 years ago

Geographically this is quite a large changeset, and "Typos" doesn't really explain what you're doing and where. It would help other mappers find out what has changed near them if you could:

o Use smaller bounding boxes

o Explain in more detail what changes have been made and why.

Often typos are made by new mappers; in such cases a message explaining what has happened would be helpful (you may have already done this by PM of course).

Not sure what happened here - needs a survey. See note/328671 .
