Hello andi9876. Thanks for your message. In my opinion, these are not entrance and ramps which are signified by links (osm.wiki/Highway_link) but a continuation of the same road and route. There is a bifurcation point at node/5727662532 but the lane of AH11 continues (though with a slight turn in geometry) and other ramps/links simply join it. However if you choose to return them to links I will not object. Have a good day.

Halo Brayat Mentaok.

Sangat dihargai.

Hello Brayat Mentaok. Welcome to the OSM community! I noticed that you are changing some narrow roads from residential to footways recently in Yogyakarta and mentioning that they are only for pedestrians and motorbikes with local knowledge. It is great to have a local updating OSM data in Yogyakarta.

I wanted to mention that the living_street classification is the official Indonesian OSM classification for those roads/alleys that are 1.5 meters to about 2 meters that could conceivably be accessed by a small vehicle in one direction. Those country specific tagging guidelines can be found here: osm.wiki/Indonesian_Tagging_Guidelines#Roads.

Some of your reclassifications to footway are accurate for very narrow passages that are less than 1.5 meters but others could potentially be accessible by small cars such as way/530631242. and way/954261459. These seem as wide as their residential road neighbors that are visible in aerial imager, however I cannot be for certain. Can you confirm this? Much appreciated.

Hi Nigh King, thanks for your contributions to OSM. I noticed in this changeset and many others that you have deleted some important buildings, administrative boundaries and road names (i.e.(way/488357513/history, way/491092987/history, way/370418167/history ). Here are some other changesets where valuable information was also deleted (https://osmcha.org/changesets/115943738/, https://osmcha.org/changesets/115941701/, https://osmcha.org/changesets/115940299/, https://osmcha.org/changesets/115938850/, https://osmcha.org/changesets/115938227/) Was this intentional? I can restore the information that was removed if this wasn’t planned. Please let me know, thank you.

Hello Parvel Melec. I noticed a large amount of duplicate overlapping data that you added in the area of the towns of Merci (node/989594938) and Doncor (node/989452282). I had to revert these changesets since there were four layers of duplicate data in this large region. When mapping please be aware of copying and pasting data and its good practice to validate your changesets before each upload for similar errors. Bonjour Parvel Melec. Hi, bernardo60. MonteGeneroso is no longer on the team, but I can try to answer your question. It seems that the highway was changed from secondary to primary due to it connecting large towns to Semarapura, which fits the description on the OSM Wiki for primary highways (highway=primary). There’s also a greater number of OSM GPS Traces along this route, which suggests it’s traveled on more than surrounding routes. What do you think about setting way/795486625 and way/814841838 to secondary and leaving the highways south of node/273931567 as primary?
Best,

Hello angys,
Footyfootfella is no longer on the team. However when we return to this area in the near future we will look into the alignment edits you mentioned.
Could you update the AH150 route relation members (relation/5288245) and any necessary way tags of those trunk way members before those alignments are made by chance? There are gaps near way/1033308766 and possibly other places.
Thanks - RiverBearings.

Hello mutiaputriutami. I see that you added a no_straight_on restriction (relation/13056897) on this prominent route with ESRI Imagery. There is a painted stop line there but no permanent physical barrier. In this https://kartaview.org/details/2344278/672/track-info from June of 2020 you can see that the road is unobstructed and these temporary plastic diversions are there for construction. Since the resources show no permanent barrier, could you delete that restriction to allow routing through? Also the classification could be promoted to tertiary or even secondary as it provides important connectivity between the secondary roads on either side that it connects to. Thanks and let me know if you come to a different conclusion. RiverBearings.

Hi DressyPear4. Chinook23 is no longer on the team, but I can try to answer your question. It is clear there is a waterway visible in imagery but it wasn’t 100% clear if it was a bridge or a culvert there. I see that you already added the tag back which makes sense in this case. Thanks for reaching out and updating the tags on the bridge segment. Have a great day!

Hello ff5722. I wanted to reach out about the new motorway that is contained in the members of relation/11697166. This route does not have ref tags on its ways or that relation. Would you happen to know if the Asian Highway 12 (ref=AH12 relation/229600) should have its members and ref tags moved away from the primary route just to the east and moved to the motorway? Any information with either getting ref tags established on the motorway or identifying another OSM community member who might know authoritatively would be a great help. Thanks and have a good day.

Hello, O Fim. Pueyrredon is no longer on the team but I can try to answer your question. It looks like Pueyrredon reclassified footways to service highways in a parking lot which connects to the sidewalk way/461276497. I agree that connections between the sidewalk and street are important for routing, and here it exists through way/965914984 and way/966375200. I’ll make additional connections at the crosswalks to improve routing since Mapillary is available at those locations. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and have a great day.

Hello behinam. I noticed that you are converting existing roads to barrier features recently. These are flagged as invalid tag modifications in OSMcha such as https://osmcha.org/changesets/111197379. The barrier tag is for a certain type of physical structure separate from roads that they might be near to - barrier=*. If you have local knowledge of these barriers near roads and rivers you can add them in as separate features but converting roads to barriers will remove that road from the existing network. Thanks and have a good day!

Bonjour Xapitoun.

Merci!

Hello Xapitoun. I noticed that you removed the RN 8 ref from Route Nationale #8 several years back in this changeset (changeset/36518002). All my research suggests that this is still an existing national route that crosses the border with the Dominican Republic. There are a few ground level images of signs from mid-2019 that confirm that in each direction: https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=18.531069034959&lng=-72.050481868902&z=17&pKey=1919676084850148&focus=photo&trafficSign%5B%5D=all&x=0.6371777136178712&y=0.5663844537669023&zoom=2.092404688995829 & https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=18.527863868725&lng=-72.041342356175&z=17&pKey=903395393726286&focus=photo&trafficSign%5B%5D=all&x=0.7395301238136885&y=0.5903840900883057&zoom=1.328328005333698.

I wanted to inform you of the issue before I change it back to RN 8. If you have any other resources that suggest it should have an alt_ref= RD 111 tag (from the addition in this changeset/56210635), let me know and I can include that as well. Thanks!
