almost 4 years ago | Hello, welcome to OSM. Please don't add non-existent features, as this is a public map. There is clearly no beach, and the bakery shop doesn't appear to exist here either. Let me know if you have questions.
almost 4 years ago | You are 100% right, fixed
almost 4 years ago | No, the standard is to mark the shop tag as disused, otherwise it will still show up as an open, unnamed clothes store. Technically, you could also mark the Dress Barn as old_name or the like as well. This is the standard used for all closed chain store cleanups on MapRoulette.
almost 4 years ago | Thank you! You're doing awesome work!
almost 4 years ago | Hah, it looks barren with all the landcover data but no buildings, so I had to help out. The most recent revision of the Microsoft's footprint data is vastly improved in West Virginia. The shapes are much more accurate, just need to be rotated a couple degrees occasionally.
almost 4 years ago | That would be a refinement of what I did, so feel free to do so.
about 4 years ago | You should only change the addresses in which your company is located, not the building itself.
about 4 years ago | You do not own the building, and you also edited a location down in Renton. You are located at 11427 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA, according to Google. If you also operate out of 11425 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA, you are welcome to add those again.
about 4 years ago | Stop spamming your business. I am reverting all changes and will request that you be banned if you continue.
about 4 years ago | Oops, unintentionally
over 4 years ago | Welcome to OSM! Your edit looks good, thank you. Please reach out if you have any questions.
over 4 years ago | Hi wislander, That's a fair point, your approach seems to match the standard in the wiki. Thanks!
over 4 years ago | Unfortunately, controlling the narrative is not the purpose of OSM. OSM relies on a principle called ground truth. Please see osm.wiki/Ground_truth for more details. Essentially, the tag should prevent people from using it. The responsibility of accurately interpreting the tag for no access falls on the third party that uses OSM data. Instead of modifying correct OSM data, you should reach out to the apps that are using OSM data.
over 4 years ago | I am reverting this changeset, as the trail was properly tagged with access=no. Please reach out if you have questions.

almost 5 years ago | Hi, thanks for your edits. Please don't abbreviate street names (Southeast to SE).
almost 5 years ago | Welcome to OSM! Your work looks great, nice job! Feel free to reach out with questions.
about 5 years ago | You should not delete the trail, but add access=no. I am reverting your change.
about 5 years ago | Well, when I was check it from the Streetside imagery, it looked like each section of the River House condos was a separate unit, so I kinda guessed the shape so that eventually each could be addressed separately. Don't want to step on any toes here, so I went ahead and deleted it, and added a single outline.
