Actually, the guidelines on dedicated accounts are contested on the imports mailing list.

You should also have a note in the Task Manager with the correct source name, if you want a source name. Please see one of the other imports for the correct way to do this.

I will stop importing for this project.

I merged it with a landuse=farm and shop=garden_centre that I created.

Hi Caitlyn,

Thanks a lot for your contributions. As a reminder, OpenStreetMap is a public datasource. Therefore, it is requested that you not include personal information such as "My House" or "Caitlyn's Parking Spot." I've made a couple edits to bring your modifications in line with the policy, as well as a few additional improvements to help out.

Please let me know if you have any questions at all, and welcome to OpenStreetMap!

Damn, my mistake, I normally use the correct tag. I'll fix those.

Thanks. According to Walgreens' website, that is one of their locations. I've edited it to reflect the fact that it was just misspelled.

Hi Yoshinion,

Tree rows are used situations as shown in the following picture: osm.wiki/File:Row_of_Poplar_Trees_-_geograph.org.uk_-_242206.jpg

This is where the individual trees might be distinguishable from each other in a row. As the trees in Point Defiance Park had already been tagged individually, tree rows are unnecessary and less accurate. In fact, individually tagged trees are the most accurate means of mapping trees, and therefore tree rows should only be used to save time/effort (versus individual tagging or adding a natural=wood area around them) or if you can't see the difference between individual trees.

I have removed the tree rows from Point Defiance Park.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Hi Mike, I believe they have rebranded as just Cook Out based on their website, which now uses "Cook Out" instead of "Cook-Out." The logo make it a bit questionable, but they have text like "TIME FOR COOK OUT" and "Cook Out cares about the quality of both our food and our service. We will be more than happy to help make your experience a positive one." on their website.

I cleaned up as much of this as I could.

I'll be correcting these from government offices to their correct office type later.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the comment. The change was quite minor, as it's just correcting the tagging to the more modern use of fitness_centre. 8 years ago (when the node was created), sports_centre was used for gyms and actual sports centers (arenas). As LA Fitness is a consistent brand that focuses on fitness, the modern fitness_centre tag is more appropriate. I will let the mapper in question know.

Maybe the official name value is a good idea. I'll do that shortly.

There were a large number of Papa Murphy's with this name already in the database, so the changes were made for consistency, but this is also the correct full name for the restaurant. Papa Murphy's is the name of the corporation running the restaurants, but I will change them back to the original if that is desired.

Thanks, that was unintentional.

Oops, thanks. I guess I missed that one. JOSM copies the motorway_junction tag too if you copy the exit_to tag.

Someone else (I think it was BeckerMN_Import or something) contacted me about helping with the imports. I have no idea about how he/she discussed them with the community.
