over 7 years ago | Hi, you seem to be part of a paid/organized/commercial editing activity. Please add a note to your profile page at openstreetmap.org (editable via your user settings at openstreetmap.org) which states which company/organisation you belong to, who pays you for editing and which software, technology and rules you use to determine which roads you edit. Which website do you use to edit OpenStreetMap (content of address bar please)? iD 2.4.1 is not running at openstreetmap.org. Please add that information and answer all questions before you upload any further edits to OpenStreetMap. Otherwise we will block your accounts and revert all your edits! Please spread this message among your workmates. It applies to everyone of your "team". Best regards Michael

over 7 years ago | Hi jithendrar, you seem to be part of some kind of team, company or any other type of organization which directs and/or pays people to edit OpenStreetMap data in a certain way. Could you please add to your user profile page who pays you and what you are told to map? The OpenStreetMap community expects anyone who is directed to edit something or paid for editing, to reveal that information. Which website do you use to edit OpenStreetMap? Please answer this questions before you upload any other changesets. Best regards Michael
over 7 years ago | Hi, please don't use Bing Streetside imagery! We don't have the permission to do so, do we? Best regards Michael
over 7 years ago | OSM is not a project to explore the grey areas of copyright. We try to be whiter than white. If 100 users look up 10 items at a copyrighted source, we will have a copy of that source in OSM. One is one enough.
over 7 years ago | Revert gestartet, Benachrichtigung erfolgt bei Abschluss
over 7 years ago | … and I won't revert it today.
over 7 years ago | @hvalentim I haven't started the revert yet (but if you had asked me in 10 minutes, you would have been to late ;-)). @ViritanoLusitano I am not really convinced by the link you provided. That's a link to the dataset but I don't find anything about copyright there. Please keep in mind that CC-BY is not compatible to our license. https://blog.openstreetmap.org/2017/03/17/use-of-cc-by-data/
over 7 years ago | Yes, I will do later today.
over 7 years ago | Hi hvalentim, thank you for the link to the user diary. However, it is still an import because you use a third-party data source and that source is no aerial or satellite imagery or street-level photo. It's sad to say it but just copying data from shape files into OSM is already a lot of work but we must know if we are permitted to use and distribute that data or if we would violate copyright laws by using it. That's one point which a proper documentation of the import on the wiki should mention. The discussion which is the second important point of the Import Guidelines gives other contributors from abroad the possibility to review it and point out mistakes before they are done in the OSM database. Best regards Michael
over 7 years ago | Hi Rizki907, why did you delete buildings in this changeset another user drew a day before and replace them by your own buildings? osm.wiki/Good_practice#Keep_the_history Best regards Michael
over 7 years ago | Hi hvalentim, this changeset seems to be part of an import. Where can I find the documentation of this import on the OSM wiki? When was this import discussed on the international imports mailing list? Admin boundaries are fragile in OSM. Therefore, I ask you to immediately stop this import and answer these questions as soon as possible. If you cannot prove that this import complies with the import guidelines, I will revert quite quickly [1] it because there are some quality issues with the data you uploaded. Best regards Michael [1] Boundaries in OSM are fragile and I want to minimize damage when I revert your import.

over 7 years ago | Hi corb555, sorry, we (some German mappers) accidentially attributed you to a group of mappers (from India?) who did pseudo-QA work on the road network and tried to fix some kind of potential errors but made things worse. However, you are also active on Saturdays and Sundays but the members of that group are not. In addition, your edits are more focussed on one or two regions while their edits span worldwide. Best regards Michael

over 7 years ago | Hi corb555, you seem to be part of a organized or commercial editing activity. Please tell all your workmates about this message. It applies to all of them. Best regards Michael
