please tell me who asked you to edit OSM and who pays you? It it pretty obvious that you are part of team which edits roads to fix some kind of routing errors and adds missing minor streets (mainly highway=service).

The OpenStreetMap community expects you to clearly state any affiliation and to document any organised editing efforts. If you fail doing so, you will be blocked and your edits reverted.

In addition, you and your team are doing many mistakes and lack the necessary on the ground knowledge.

That's why I ask you to pause your edits for 72 hours.

ehrlich gesagt wäre es mir lieber, wir würden das anstatt hier auf der Mailingliste oder im Forum diskutieren.

Deine Kritik ist teilweise richtig. Wenn ich es so betrachte, ist das Löschen des Multipolygons nicht in Ordnung. Ich hatte es gelöscht, weil es nur einen äußeren Ring hatte. Wenn natürlich jemand den Treppenaufgang mappt, braucht man es wieder.

public_transport=platform ist für den gesamten Bahnsteig da, nicht für die Kante. Als wir uns railway=platform_edge im Sommer 2014 ausgedacht haben, wollten wir zum bestehenden Mapping abwärtskompatibel bleiben. Deshalb blieben railway=platform und public_transport=platform auf der Fläche.

Mit dem Gedanken, dass man von der Multipolygonrelation einfach auf die Kanten kommen kann, wenn solche platform_edge-Bahnsteige grundsätzlich als Multipolygone modelliert sind, haben wir damals die Multipolygon-platform_edge-Variante uns ausgedacht.

Leider hat diese zwei Haken. Erstens tun viele Datennutzer ihre Abfragen nicht auf den originalen OSM-Daten durchführen, sondern auf Datenbanken, die nicht topologisch sind. Zweitens binden wir uns an die suboptimale Art, wie Flächen in OSM modelliert werden. Es ist langsam absehbar, dass die Zeit der Multipolygonrelationen in OSM zu Ende gehen wird. Ob es mit der nächsten oder erst mit der übernächsten Version passieren wird, ist unklar, die Arbeiten an einer Überarbeitung des Datenmodells haben jedoch begonnen. Ich lösche public_transport=platform von Bahnsteigkanten und übertrage es an die Flächen, wenn diese erfasst sind, weil das die übliche und anerkannte Erfassungsweise für Bahnsteige ist. Das PTv2-Schema schreibt vor, dass der Bahnsteig die Rolle "platform" hat und nicht dessen Kante. Das Modellieren von Kanten ist eine verhältnismäßig neue Detailstufe.

Das gelöschte Multipolygon kann ich wiederherstellen, wenn du das wünschst.

Ach und nochwas: Wer wann was als Namen rendert, ist mir beim Mappen egal und das sollte auch dir egal sein, weil es sonst Tagging für den Renderer wäre.

what is the source of this changeset? It is impossible to spot access restrictions from satellite imagery in this case.

You seem to work on a list of potential errors returned by some kind of road quality assurance system. Could you please share this list with the public?

in diesem Änderungssatz hast du Bing verwendet. Ist dir bewusst, dass Bing in Rheinland-Pfalz nur als zweite oder dritte Wahl verwendet werden sollte?

In Rheinland-Pfalz enthält der ESRI-Layer das amtliche Orthophoto (das wir nur über den ESRI-Layer nutzen dürfen). Bitte verwende dieses und stelle ansonsten bei der Verwendung anderer Satellitenbilder (Bing, Mapbox, DigitalGlobe) sicher, dass diese ordentlich ausgerichtet sind, indem du sie mit den verfügbaren GPS-Tracks vergleichst.

vielen Dank für da Eintragen. Ich habe heute ein paar der von dir editierten Straßen mit dem Auto befahren und pflege gerade ein, an was ich mich noch erinnere (insbesondere, wenn OsmAnd meine Geschwindigkeit zu Unrecht kritisiert hat). Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass du keine Stoppschilder erfasst. Ist das Absicht? Manche Router berücksichtigen diese bei der Fahrtzeitberechnung. Fühle dich nicht gezwungen, aber ich wollte es nur mal gesagt haben.

Dort, wo die LZB-/ETCS-Ausrüstung endet, sowie dort, wo Gleise ohne LZB/ETCS in der Nähe von ausgerüsteten Gleisen liegen, ist railway:lzb=no bzw. railway:etcs=no in meinen Augen angemessen und sollte beibehalten werden.

Leider hast du bislang fast gar nicht Änderungssatzkommentar anderer Mitwirkender reagiert. Sollte das weiterhin der Fall sein, müssen wir als Community darüber diskutieren, ob wir den strittigen Teil deiner Beiträge ohne genauere Sichtung löschen.
