As documented in osm.wiki/Names#Names_are_not_for_descriptions name tags should not be used as description. Is this POI actually named "Fruit Stand" or is this just a name you came up with?
Also looking at the satellite imagery this doesn't appear to be a supermarket. It seems to be just a few temporary popup tents. Perhaps a more appropriate tag would be shop=farm(https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:shop%3Dfarm) or shop=greengrocer (shop=greengrocer)

Did they expand this to 2 car lanes and still kept the bike lane?

By all the available imagery I was referring to the ones in iD. If you open Background Settings panel, shortcut key "B", you can change to different satellite images taken by different companies at various times. There are also a few different maps you can switch to for reference as well.

Please note that you can NOT use Google Maps to add data to OSM under any circumstances. That is considered copyright violation. Please see osm.wiki/FAQ#Why_don't_you_just_use_Google_Maps/whoever_for_your_data?

Looking at the available street side imagery from 8/3/2022 it still shows just a single car lane on this loop.

Yup, I updated the outline of some nearby buildings that were just barely overlapping this one.

Unfortunately iD and RapiD also still don't know about it and when you perform extract poi from building it grabs that tag too ☹️

It's a bit awkward, but if you go into Map Data side panel (shortcut U), and enable measurement panel(shortcut ctrl-shift-M), it'll show you various measurements of selected OSM object. Then you can draw a temporary line and it'll tell you its length. Simply press ESC to abort drawing that line.

I don't think this is a correct way to tag area of this street. If you look at the resulting map, there are now 3 different ways with the same name..
Also if you take a look at area:highway=*, there are different tags and they signify different features.

If you want to indicate street's dimensions, I think it's better to use width= tag as documented in width=*#Width_of_streets

If you use StreetComplete app, it has builtin AR mode to easily measure street widths to derive that data.

If there are navigation problems, it's probably easier to fix those problems in other ways than with that relation, which I'm not even sure routers use.

As for associating sidewalks in this relation, I don't think that's an approved way of tagging. At least I haven't seen done it that way.
And before you start doing that, I'd suggest this be discussed with other nyc mappers so that we have a useful and consistent way of mapping, rather than free-for-all per neighborhood.

I haven't looked at all the features you added in this relation to confirm it's completely correct, on cursory look it looks ok.
However practically speaking I'm not sure if this relation is adding any value to the data consumers. Its primary purpose is to disambiguate which street an address or a building belongs to. But if all of them already include that street name in addr:street tag, there's no ambiguity.
It would make sense if a building was sitting on a street with no name or an address' official location didn't match the street it was on.
On the other hand relation creates complications when it comes to editing features on this street. Some things can't edited or deleted or merged since they are part of a relation, etc.
There's a purpose for associatedStreet relation, but around NYC such might come up only a handful of times.

Please note that "Country=" is an INVALID tag. As documented in addr:country=*, if you do want to include country info it MUST be 2 letter ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code.
Furthermore, "addr:street=" tag must include ONLY fully spelled out street name. It must NOT include house number information!
Both if these tags have previously been fixed for you but you changed them again to the incorrect information.
If you continue to intentionally modify the map with incorrect information your account will be referred to DWG(osm.wiki/Data_working_group) for vandalism!
