An example might be [this crossing](openstreetmap.org/node/2090471084). It looks like it has point machines near the common crossing and therefore looks like a slip switch.\\

The mapping with 2 switches is (sadly) not the correct way of tagging slip switches. There should only be one node with railway=switch and either railway:switch=double_slip or railway:switch=single_slip at the location where you would place a railway crossing. The ref of both switches can still be tagged by using ref=<name>;<name> An example can be found [here](node/4463841955). I personally don't mind if you leave it like you currently did it, but others might.

Are you aware of the difference between railway=railway_crossing and railway=switch | railway:switch=double_slip? It seems like you taggen all slip switches as railway=railway_crossing

Ik hoop dat de mensen die die tags voorstellen / tagging voor de renderer oplossen ook moeite willen steken in het maken en gemerged krijgen van een Pull Request bij Carto

Ik snap alleen niet hoe je hier wél meteen ontevreden over bent, terwijl de Oude Campspolder al heel lang als farmland met name getagt is en de Duifpolder als island. Waarom zou je hier zo strict willen zijn?

Ik zie zelf niet echt dat er een probleem is; de luchtfoto is niet ideaal uitgelijnd, maar er zijn geen andere ways/nodes dan landuse-ways in de polder die ik aan het mappen ben. Om die reden ga ik liever voor een scherpere luchtfoto dan een beter uitgelijnde luchtfoto.

Als iemand me kant en klaar een betere oplossing geeft dan is dat prima, maar ik zie nu niet de noodzaak om daar zelf achter aan te gaan

Het lijkt wel degelijk om de 7,5 cm luchtfoto te gaan:

Beste Daniel,

De Esri World Imagery luchtfoto is scherper dan (de in Go Map!! beschikbare) PDOK luchtfoto. Voor zover ik kan zien is het in Go Map!! niet mogelijk om de luchtfoto te corrigeren zoals je bijvoorbeeld in JOSM kan doen. Heb je een oplossing waarbij ik scherpe én goed uitgelijnde luchtfoto’s kan gebruiken? Anders moeten we gaan kiezen tussen minder precies mappen of een klein beetje op de verkeerde plek mappen.

Could you be more specific on which ways have wrong tags?

The fact that it’s an abandoned proposal coincides (and might relate) with the tag not being rendered by most of the maps. Not really motivating to choose for such a tag (especially as the embankment tag is not wrong).

You’re welcome. The tag man_made=dyke is an abandoned proposal, as far as I can see. I used man_made=embankment as second-best option, while a better tag is lacking

For adding English names I disagree with you. Adding a name in English while the local language is not English is not as good as the local name. However, it is not wrong if there's no better alternative; I don't speak the local language so I added it in English. If another mapper would decide to further improve that, they could simply replace the name tag by a name:en tag, and add the proper local name in the local language under the name tag.

For the rail brakes I agree. Back then I used the wrong tag, but later I found a better tag (railway=retarder) and used it in later projects (for example at node/8298413934).

My intention was not to change the location of the ways/nodes. The goal was to only add the speed limits. If I changed the location of that way, it was a mistake. If I didn’t, the wat was already wrong before I touched it.
